  • In this video I unbox an brand new AEG Electrolux Ultraone bagged cylinder vacuum cleaner.
    This has to be one of the quietest vacuum cleaners I have ever used and at only 750 watts, one of the most economical too.
    A full demonstration will follow soon, so please subscribe and you'll be updated when I upload any new videos.
    Please support my channel so I can continue to make more videos.

    I know here in the U.S we can buy extra attachments for the Electrolux (same machine) the crevice tool they sell is longer and comes with a battery operated light attached to the upper front.

    Wow. If this machine performs anything like it sounds and looks, it would be a great option. Those old Electrolux multi-tools are the only multi-tools I've ever really liked. That's how a multi-tool should work, in my opinion. I believe Electrolux USA (now called Aerus), are still making those butterfly multi-tools for a coupe of their vacuums.

    Hi Roger,I got some information about this ultra one it has around 400 airwatts, its got the same motor as used in philips performer pro expert series, made in poland in same factory philips makes alot of vacuums they share same style of motor insulation, i hope you find this information usefull

    hi roger so glad you finally got one i have the aeg ultraone in blue how do you find this as your everyday cleaner i used mine constant for 2 tears and never had a problem

    • @ibaisaic
      @ibaisaic  Před 8 lety

      +mark89474 I haven't used it for a while as I tend to use uprights for day to day use, though I have managed to fill the first bag. The best thing about it is the low noise and it does a good job on everything apart from pet hair. I will be making a full demo soon.

    Dear +ibaisaic, What's with those green vents? You also mention being air exhaustion, but what kind of air does come out of there? This vacuum is being considering from my part for allergic purposes, but I'm not certain what kind of air comes out, is it filtered and so on?

    • @ibaisaic
      @ibaisaic  Před 7 lety +2

      They looked like exhaust vents but the vents on top of the cleaner do not exhaust any air. They are either a design feature of they provide ventilation for the motor. The air exhausts from the back of the cleaner after being filtered many times. This cleaner gets an A rating for dust emissions.

      +ShrinkDavid 1982 I would like the power head version, but I have other priorities at the moment.

    • @David49305
      @David49305 Před 8 lety +1

      I can imagine. I don't know how you manage to purchase all these cleaners. It is always nice when you get the chance to review a powerhead model as they seem to be so rare in the UK. It seems nearly all canisters here have a model with a powerhead. That may be do to a larger reliance on wall to wall carpet than in Britain, but that is just a guess. I think we have had wall to wall carpet in the US longer than Britain as we tend to have newer homes. You know the US model, if it is more that 30 or 40 years old, it must be torn down. I would love nice hardwood floors but they come at a premium. Of course, they are also boring to vacuum. Plus, our homes tend to be quite large in comparison to European homes, at least that is my experience based on watching "How Clean is Your House." Carpet tends to be cheaper than hardwood so carpet is standard to fill up the square footage of a large American home (besides kitchens and baths). Hardwood is always an upgrade but it may be that way in Britain is well. Most of the homes featured on Clean House tended to be older homes with wood floors and area rugs. Okay, I am rambling because it is late. Have a good day, Roger!

    • @NumaticVacuum
      @NumaticVacuum Před 8 lety

      +ShrinkDavid 1982 There is just no demand for them, as uprights are more popular...And, the average British person would not spend that kind of money on a cylinder that has a powerhead, pitting a powerhead on a cylinder takes away the whole convenience factor, British people on Average usually but a cylinder for the car or doing the stairs or just, above the floor jobs in general, if a revolving brush is required people will just have an upright for that.
      I also like cylinders with powerheads but in my experience they are quite bulky and awkward, compared to an upright which will offer the same results for carpet cleaning.

    The vacuum vents out of the top? The way the filters are placed with that grate at the back, it looks as if it would vent there.

    • @ibaisaic
      @ibaisaic  Před 8 lety

      +ShrinkDavid 1982 It does vent out of the back. I initially thought it was the top until I looked at it again.

    • @David49305
      @David49305 Před 8 lety

      Okay. That makes sense. I thought by the way the filters were put in, it would filter out the back which is not so good for hard floors. It would be nice if it did vent out of the top. Seems like a decent vacuum for what it is. I do really like the look of it. What is it about vacuums that make me want to set them out for people to admire? My family thinks I am a bit nutty.

    You can get the oval to round 32mm adapter if you want to use standard 32mm tools. I have turbo nozzle for this vac. I have to say that it's (for air driven) very good. Only problem with it is that it doesn't have any suction release valve and it work best on medium to high pile carpets. Very low pile carpets causes lack of airflow to the turbine and it slows the brush roll down quite alot.
    You can get XXL hose to it. It is about 2,5 meters long.
    Model with the full size powerhead is called AEG/Electrolux UltraOne Quattro or ZUOQUATTRO depending the country. It has full four star EU-rating. www.amazon.co.uk/AEG-Ultraone-Bagged-Cylinder-Cleaner/dp/B00O44991Y

    I had this model myself a while ago, but returned it, and got a Miele S8 instead. I liket the AEG, but still prefer the Miele tho. The S8 I got, was one of the last sold here with 2200 watts, before the new regulations took place.

    Hello, did you ever tested rowenta silence force? he got 4A class and is very quiet there's compact too; let me know Im interested about it of electrolux zusanima58 or zusgreen58 both of them make 58db of noise but im afraid that they don't have a lot of power, so better going for this ultraonegreen or rowenta proanimal, because i wont a very silent one and both of them make 66db of noise

    The ratings just amaze me. A "B" for carpets when a SEBO with a powerhead gets a "C". Why do they bother with such ratings if they aren't reliable?

    • @ibaisaic
      @ibaisaic  Před 8 lety

      +ShrinkDavid 1982 It probably does get a B for carpets, but this test is for removing a particular kind of dust and doesn't take into account pet hair removal for example. The Sebo power head would certainly out perform the AEG in this area.

    • @David49305
      @David49305 Před 8 lety

    no way 750 watt motor makes high suction like a 350 watts or 400watts of airwatts power so 2200 watt vacuum cleaner has the same suction as the 750 watts what´s the techology of the motor? it´s a pepertual brushless dc motor tell me why is the tecnology

    AEG cleaners aren't good.
    They usually break after a few years.
    All these old German companies like AEG, Grundig and Siemens aren't German anymore. Kind of like Hoover, just worse.
    Also this is how to pronounce the word "Öko":
