I noticed I had the community tab the other day and I did a double-take! I wouldn't mind uploading my passport at all. I was writing really, really long descriptions to try and connect with my audience as I really wanted to build some kind of rapport so having the community tab is amazing and I've already had one comment since I started using it yesterday. Whoever is reading DONT give up on your channel. Think about all the hard work that you have already put in. Every youtuber was once in your spot they just kept going. Stay consistent and you will reach your goals. consistent uploads and improvement and some grit is all you need! I am going for 200 subs by the end of October!!!

Thank you! My husband and I are preparing to start a channel, and I didn't even realize you had to unlock levels! It's good to know this before we get all excited and then run into an obstacle. The tips about the community tab are really helpful, too.
Depends on the platform too, I stream on twitch, and am micro. Growth IS slow but works for me, sudden growth can be something bad, but usually it's viral. It could mean you're big for something you didn't plan to be big on, but work with that. Also don't "try" to be viral just do what you like and make sure to up enthusiasm.
So I finally woke up to the community tab, few hours after I commented under this post that I haven't got mine despite having the advanced settings. Congrats to me and every small CZcamsr out here grinding to reach their CZcams goalsâ€â€â€

I have 2 subscribers here on this account and 8 on my alternate channel that I plan to use for gaming and music content (Haven't decided exactly how I want to do it yet) and I saw community posts available out of the blue. I used it a few days ago and it worked. Glad to see you guys covering it.
I totally suggest separate channels, Sometimes if I upload a video that's inconsistent with my other videos, I lose subs.

@@TripleSevenStars having inconsistencies isn't going to stop you from growing here. It'll make it harder for you to grow. But experiment with your videos and find what you like the most, then double down on that for a while for your growth

i'm so close to this goal, but im happier its more availiable as there are so many channels out there that can really use this, still does make the grind seem a little un-rewarding at time, don't get me wrong i'm so greatful for all my success, especially the fact that im a indie games developer, imagine if i was to do youtube full time, would have more subscribers, but i love coding seeing an entire world form in front of my very eyes is incredible, I'm a developer first, CZcamsr second but im so greatful for the community tab getting rolled out to everyone.

Thanks for posting this. I am still a new, small creator. The advanced features are available to me (once I found them). I could not find the settings tab using yt studio app, so I had to go to desktop to find it. I will be engaging with the
community option.

If youâre on a mobile phone, you go to CZcams studio on your browser and request the desktop website. Also, Iâve been watching your content and itâs helped me grow. I didnât get access to this because I did the community tab before there were requirements for it. But I still love to watch your videos for tips.

I just made a channel yesterday and in order to embed clickable links in my video description I had to do the video or ID verification. It's awesome that I was able to get those features right away :)
Hey. We got advanced features in the first week of starting our channel - through the Channel History route (Dec 2022). Not really sure how as it usually takes 2 months according to the info. I did make and schedule lots of daily videos straight off, maybe that helped.
Just found this out today randomly and am super excited! Was really upset when I found out CZcams locked community posts until you get 500 subs and I really enjoy just being able to casually update watchers, so this was amazing news to me! Thank goodness I donât have to wait for 500 for this đ

it used to be 1,000 subscribers, but they changed it to 500 last year, and now anyone can have it
@@gabbyslvr yeah I had an old account with over 1,000 subs when it first came out so I just assumed everyone had it, but then I realised it was for 1k subs. But now Iâm so glad theyâve just let anyone have it cuz I do love an update haha
FYI there has always been a cap on the amount of videos you can upload in a 24 hours period (for new channels). it was set at 10 uploads per 24 hour period. you could bypass this by verifying your identity by uploading a picture of your drivers license, or in have a few months of uploading less than 10 videos per day without any strikes (it would remove the limit eventually after a few months)

Very small YT'er here and I would definitely be willing to upload a video verification or form of ID to unlock any features to help my channel grow.
Community tab really helped me engage with my audience so it's a win for every small youtuber like myself.

I don't have it yet (but as I read in other comments, they're probably rolling it out for the USA first), though I wonder - how useful would the community tab be for small channels ? As you don't have a lot of subscribers yet, and I don't know if non-subscribers are very likely to click on a community tab.
@@2moonplanet mention it in your videos, put it in your description, and just keep letting people know it's there. I'm at 491 subs and some of mine were saying it's not coming up in the feed, so I wonder if it doesn't appear there until you have 500 and YT just forgot to mention it. But having the ability to communicate with your audience in small ways without it having to be a video will always be beneficial.

Nice video! I'm definitely curious about the advanced features, especially the community post as I don't use social media other than CZcams itself. A little bit hesitant to do this just yet as I'd prefer to not provide YT with my ID but I'll do some research & see if it's worth it.

THANKYOU, for bringing some of this awareness about this. cos i don't see the advanced feature yet, and thought i had set my channel up wrong - i'm not keen on giving out my random ID card - not that i have anything, apart from a bus pass!!! so i would probably have to do video ID thing - but you seem to say all we got to do is wait? maybe i shall do that then, and hope i don't get left too far behind. i really enjoyed figuring all this out with you giving us proper info, as i tried in the week - and some YT help was less than helpful, frustrating.

Yeah, once your channel has enough channel history (which apparently takes two months) you should automatically get it.

I've unlocked my main channel's Community tab by passing 500 subs and doing exactly like this to my second channel but I have less than 10 subs though. I'm so glad CZcams decided to make the Community tab unlock for everyone because I'm pretty sure it's completely useful for your channel to interact with your audience beyond videos. Ever since before, I always wanted this tab but since then my dreams comes true.
I still cant get it, do I need to do it through a pc?

There's been a cap on how much you can upload, even when verified for advanced stuff, for a couple of years at least. I ran into it when I created my initial backlog of evergreen content for level walkthroughs on a handful of games. It was somewhere in the 60s or 70s per 24hr period if I remember correctly.
I've just gotten my 4th sub on my second channel and I already have access to these features. Interesting how they're opening them up to all of us.

Every day i post 3 vĂdeos, one of Catholic gospel of the day, and 2 shorts, the saint of the day, and the prayer of the day. Also twice a week i post some regular vĂdeo of a prayer, or psalm.
This sort os content doesnt have how to make hooks.
It has standart format.
Do you have any suggestion.

I think it is going to be more for âsocial mediaâ that way people who have accounts as consumers can share to their friends. Thatâs why the tags started too. CZcams is taking over everything lol

@@RayCompass Yes. In feature eligibility, I have advanced settings enabled via channel history, but the create button doesn't have a make a post option, & community is not showing up on my homepage. I'm hoping to get it on my Clash of Clans channel.

Rob, for some reason you didn't address the "Channel history" option under Requirements. You only touched on "Video verification" and "Valid ID." I'm a small channel but have eligibility for Advance Features, and I checked and found that my "Channel history" was already checked. THAT is all you need, and not the ID or video verification.

I choosed "establish channel history" and it took less than 1 month to unlock advanced features. I was very surprised to see that, with only 9 subscribers, I could have access the community tab. But without any community to communicate with, I'll have to wait I guess :)

I'm fairly sure I need to work out shortening my content length, getting straight to the point and forgetting that it might just not be my regular audience watching but a new bunch of people and appeal to everyone.

Community posts are still rolling out so not all creators may have them yet, even if you have advanced features.
Having it for the past week has helped me grow so much, especially just starting out. It's amazing how much reach picture polls have over my actual subscribers.
