When you’re alive, no one is around. When you die, everyone gathers and has so much to say. RIP Mandisa ❤🙏🏾

Why is everyone commenting about being white and listening to her music? When I was a huge Michael Jackson fan back in the 80's I didn't go around saying "this white girl loves Michael Jackson, LOL!" Weird. Mandisa was a HUMAN! God bless her for her life and her eternal life!

Notice the calmness of Mandisa's earthly father. Her earthy father who knows that Mandisa was on loan to him from Mandisa's Heavenly Father and that she is now with her Savior Jesus Christ and he will see her again and rejoice with her for eternity in the presence of our Lord and Savior... Hallelujah! Glory to God for His Kindness, Mercy and Love.

I was never so glad he spoke the truth! Very happy to know the rumors of suicide was not truth!

I'm a 59 yr old white woman, I have black nieces and nephews bloodly related to me. Almost 2 years ago I started going to a predominantly Black church. Tell you it is actually one of the best blessings God has given me. I have learned a deeper level of Jesus since going to the church I'm in now than I think I have ever had in other churches. There is only one God, there is only one heaven, there is only one Jesus and he died for all of us. Rest in peace Mandisa. And God bless your family.

How lovely that he grew up in a segregated world and yet his daughter's gift brought people together. In Proverbs 18 it says that your gift would make room for you.❤

Thank the lord for her life and that she touched the hearts of people of different races. As Christians we must see all races of people as just people. There’s no color in Christ Jesus. We are all brothers & sisters.

I loved Mandisa from the moment she interviewed for American Idol. She proudly sang about her faith in God. ❤ She is an amazing soul. God bless her family. I am so sorry for your loss.

I'm an old white lady and I loved Mandisa's since I first saw her on American idol. She was a beautiful person inside & out with a beautiful soul. She had the most beautiful smile and seemed to be so full of light. She will be missed. Condolence to family, friends and fans. May she rest in peace.

No greater honor is bestowed than for an earthly father to say, "and Jesus loved Mandissa" at her funeral. Condolences from Virginia. Maranatha

I absolutely love that Mandisa's Dad cleared up a lot of negativety around the cause of her death. He eulogised her beautifully. May we all live in "Unity". Rest in power and love with God Beautiful Angel ❤🙏

I met her at a Curves conference in 2009 and she was sweet as can be. I'm glad she broke the cycle of prejudice and loved all races and colors equally. RIP dear Mandisa!

YES, YES, YES, this is SO needed. As an Airforce bratt, my biggest shock in the civilian world was how segregated it is. Especially in the church. Its long overdue that we realize that Christs bride is 1 body!

I commend the father for dispelling the false rumor that his daughter died by suicide and delivering a heartfelt sermon. He doesn't need to be a priest to share profound words from the Bible. Unity is essential for America in this moment.

I have anxiety and depression, and I love Jesus, but not everyone thinks I'm a good Christian bc of my mental health and addiction recovery, but Mandisa spoke true love that helped me greatly. I am also a music lover, and her music was an amazing inspiration. I played Good morning on my alarm clock for months so that I could always wake up on a positive note while I was going through hard times. I didn't know her personally, but she still affected my life greatly and I will truly miss her. She's with Jesus and I pray to meet her in Heaven someday! Prayers for her family and friends!
