Amen to that, he is holding onto the stress still it sounds, sounds like he misses the group but also wishes them well, I agree 100% with you, they need to meet and bond again, now older and mature, they realize mistakes and realizes they need inner healing that meet can be a healing to help him and for them to forgive, and makeup and the group can let them know he is there for him, as brotha's they've started out to be, til "The End of the Road". We miss y'all B2M!

At the age of 67 oh, I to have MS and have been diagnosed for almost 30 years. It was hard for a long time to get used to this change in my life as I was a nurse. I love my job but could no longer do it for fear that I would hurt myself or worst yet, hurt someone else meaning those that I give care to. I found that I was in need of care then. Thank God that I have a very supportive family in my children. I'm up walking around doing all the things that I did before but just at a slower pace. I did not let this stop me from doing anything that I want to do and I will not until the day that I go to my maker. People don't realize that I have MS and I don't spread it unless they asked me specifically why I sometimes use a cane to walk with. It's nothing to be ashamed of. May God bless this young man and keep him and his loving arms. I decided to do the same thing that I wanted to do for some time which was and is teaching. I'm not a teacher at a school but I am a teacher to my children grandchildren and my great-grandchildren and anyone else who will listen. Just tried to shut me up and see what happens. LOL. I still love my life as it is.

This is one of those situations where I feel no one is at fault. I truly feel sorry for Mike because dealing with a debilitating illness is bad enough on a physical level, but takes a major toll on the emotional side as well. MS took away something that he loved to do. At the same time, I understand that Boyz II Men is a business & they have to do what’s best for the group. They have CLASSIC songs under their belt, & pre-COVID, they would’ve been able to tour & get singing engagements for as long as they could stand it. Along with that comes contracts. If a promoter is paying for all 4 members to show up & there’s only 3 they could get sued since MS is a chronic, unpredictable & degenerative disease. There’s no “he just needs a couple weeks & he’ll be ok” remedy. Touring & performing takes a lot out of a “healthy” person, so I get why (from a business standpoint) the group would cut their losses. Now I hope they all can get back to speaking terms at least. To me, that’s the most important thing.

I was/is a HUGE Boyz II Men fan. I worked (Andy Frain usher) their concert when they came to Chicago back in day at the Rosemont Horizon. It was them, Jodeci and Hammer. DOPE-DOPE ACE' CONCERT!. In fact, the next morning I woke up to the news that their manager had been shot and killed. I was a teen so immediately I thought it was Michael Bivins, but it was in fact Roderick ''Khalil'' Rountree so sad..... When I found out Bass had left I was heartbroken as well.
My wife I were in Vegas on vacation a couple of years ago. Looking for things to actually do, we saw that Boyz II Men were doing a show a place on the strip (I think it was The Mirage). I hurried up and purchased those tickets! MAN-MAN-MAN!... THEY THREW DOWNNNN!!!!!!.... I could notice Bass missing but their voices just blended soooo perfectly which Nathan handling both his range and occasionally going down to handle bass. Dude, it was freakin beautiful. It took me back to 1992 kid.... Straight up.
I DO wish that Mike had shared that information with the group. I'm sure they would have accommodated him. But him missing in action, that does not fly. Heck there were times in the videos where he was sitting down, but he was STILL present!. That is a shame. I hope he is well though.
