The following children and teens spent thousands of dollars of their parents’ money on upgrades in apps and video games, and their parents didn’t realize it until it was too late. Depending on their country's law, a person is entitled to a refund during a certain amount of time.
What most parents do nowadays is just give their kid a Tablet and go away and expect wont do anything, then these idiots try to sue and they win. This is why America is losing money.

Actually you're required to explicitly authorize the app to do any financial transactions before downloading, akin to a ToS. Its what you accept before downloading.
Trying to sue the developers, when you allowed them to do this in the first place, is a lost cause.
You can't watch your kid 24/7. Also, taking stealing credit card from parents, entering details, buying, can be done in about a minute or so.
