Bro... I literally said to my Mom "Why wouldn't you get the charger yourself?!" which was literally 3 feet away from her and then she yelled at me "I pay the bills around here so you don't have the right to say that!" đ
I just realized something my parents would come home dead tired to do chores, but if I gave them any attitude they always had the energy to whoop my ass
The best one is when she calls you to pass her the remote and the remote is just an arms distance away, she just had to stretch her hand but screaming yo name to call you fetch it was apparently easier. They do it intentionally, its how they make us hate home enough to leave and start our own homes.
@Orlando Ransom-Ramos my theory is just that mothers don't ever want to be proved wrong because I got in trouble for reminder my mother that she was going to forget something at the grocery store like I was just trying to help
@@yunggk7776 I guess some older peeps can't stand being corrected or stood up to by younger people, especially when it's their own children. Hurts their pride, I imagine. I mean, I could empathize there, but c'monn nobody's perfect. Say what you want about zoomers & millennials being oversensitive & lazy (which is sometimes true), but old people could stand to be humbled once every so often by someone roughly half their age for the right reason, seeing how they survived how much tougher their upbringings were.

To the parents who have kids right now, If you're just doing this to prove a point in thinking that it'll make you a better parent than the next person, stop and carefully reevaluate your mindset. No parent is perfect and neither is the child/children they're raising. Household etiquette is important, sure. But what counts the most is that no one has to have a problem with certain responsibilities as long as they're to be handled within a specific time.
My late mom was this to near perfection except she didnât ask, she demanded. After I turned around twenty the chores became useless commands just to prove she was still my mother, regardless if they resembled this exact video (nothing in the sink to wash, no trash, etc. she didnât care just do it). Portuguese parents may be white but imo they rival the Hispanic and Indian parents. Since I was too big and sturdy to be hit after 12 (respectfully deserved, I was a little shit), she changed up the game to mental games. She always won. Itâs been 2 1/2 years since she passed away and although we never saw eye to eye, I almost miss her screaming weirdly enough. I loved the silence afterwards but after a time it just turns into loneliness. Take my word here, for those that still have a mom: just do what she asks, hug her every now and then and be there for when the end comes. Youâll never know when itâll happen but youâll regret not doing these things once the days fly by. Sorry to bring down the mood, this just really reminded me of her. Damn near died when you kept checking the door, I did that shit WAY too often trying to hear if my name was gonna be screamed out for the 9th time that dayđ
