2001: Everything is normal
September 2001: It alter everything
Especially in the aviation industry. Post September 11, 2001, American, Delta, United and all the 727 carriers, retired their 727, which was truly devastating to me, especially since the 727 is my all-time favorite aircraft.
LAX sure has changed a lot.Seeing names like US Air,Continental, and Northwest, was pretty cool also.Sure will miss the DC10s and 747’s though....
727s, FK28s, DeHavilland 8-200, Embraer 120, old 737s, old 747s, A300s, A310s, MD80, MD90, DC8s DC9s DC10s, MD11, L1011 Concorde all in our memory it's sad 😢
Very soon rumors
A318, 757s, 767s
The variety of models was huge
Nowadays you see the same aircraft a million times , it’s true that those days were the golden ones 👌😍
Miss you Varig
Lovely trip down memory lane ..wonderful good old days thanku so much love an god bless x
8:26, VARIG
Ou levando os BR pro Japão! Nesse tempo ainda tinha a linha de Tokio e Nagoya
These days there are far fewer airlines and their planes are just as boring as their liveries. Great memories from the good old days!
I was at DCA two weeks before 9-11. It was the last time I saw a 727. But we have an ocean of little airbuses to keep us!
Brilliant brilliant love it
Very nice this old planes !!!
Good old aviation days
Awesome video! 🙂👍
Smooth landing at 2:55
15:36 I believe it says N591UA, the aircraft that would later be hijacked on September 11th, 2001 as United 93.
that 757 not 767
@@binbin9349 Yes, United 93 was a 757-200.
Yep...
N591UA
yay
gostei do vídeo, parabéns .
Planes were a lot cooler in 2001, becuz there were more 747s in service
Like millions of millions of 747's
Great to see the old OLD carriers SunWest? NorthWest? Even more amazing to see the old USPS livery
2:39 MEXICANA!!!
As a mexican i miss you too much
Yo también
Did Mexicana become Aeromexico? Or is it a different airline?
@@lsnead72 mexicana and aeromexico are 2 different airlines
@@lsnead72 Bankruptcy and it's mentioned the Ceo had a 54 million pesos of tax evasion and basically is the nail on the coffin
I loved this airline, it's a shame it went out like that
2:44 best part of the video
5:57 N753PR later re-registered to RP-C7473 was Philippine Airlines last Boeing 747 ever to be retired.
15:28 There it is
This is true.
So Cooler!😎
4:26 China Southern Airlines
I've said this before but I'll say it again, 2001 wasn't a long ago time in terms of history but it was ancient in terms of aviation. Especially because 9/11 started a new chapter of aviation...
: (
5:57 The heart of the Filipino, shining through 🇵🇭
Those were the days
😍😍😍😍😍
I was in junior high school
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
@12:20 look at that delta dive!
I'm all about the Tri Jets!
Jakarta please 🙏
02:45 Mexicana de Aviacion 1921 / 2010 😔
September 11 Tragedy killed all of them great planes 😞
It’s a shame Mexicana couldn’t have stuck around... Mexico needed another legacy carrier besides Aeromexico
it seems it is much before 2001
15:30 United airlines flight 93...
8:27 VARIG BRASIL! ❤️
Wish Delta had kept their Triple 7s.🥺 It's also nice to see planes, especially my favorite, the 757, without those hideous winglets !!!😡 They are so ugly.
Progress screws up everything.. its nice to take a trip down memory lane.
Instead of showing the entire aircraft, the cameraman is doing a useless closeup when the plane is going by 🤦♂️. Good airplane material ruined by terrible filming
USPS 727, was part of the D-NET route
I've seen this cargo plane, come through Seattle from late 90s to my guess 2002 ever since then have not seen it since
Sure miss the old aircrafts 😢
