Also, here is how to write everything in spanish, in case it helps:
1. Hola → Hello
2. Hola, ¿cómo estás? → Hello, how are you?
3. Bien, ¿y tú? → Good, and you?
4. Sí → Yes
5. ¿Estás bien? → Are you okay?
6. Sí, estoy bien → Yes, I'm okay
7. No → No (Like, the same thing HAHAHA)
8. No, no estoy bien → No, I'm not okay
9. Gracias → Thank you
10. Muchas gracias → Thank you so/very much
11. Por favor → Please
12. ¿Me pasas eso, por favor? → Can you pass me that, please?
13. Disculpe → Excuse me
14. Disculpe, ¿qué es eso? → Excuse me, what is that?
15. Con permiso → Excuse me (to pass someone. I mean, for me it's like a polite way to say "move, please" HAHAHA)
16. Perdón → Sorry
17. Perdóname → Forgive me
18. Ayuda (it's actually with "y" 🙏🏻) → Help
19. Ayúdame → Help me
20. Ayúdame, por favor → Help me, please/Please, help me
21. Que tenga un buen día → Have a good day
22. Que tenga una buena semana → Have a good week
23. Adiós → Goodbye
24. Gracias/adiós, que tenga un buen día → Thank you/goodbye, have a good day
25. Perdóname, por favor → forgive me, please/ please, forgive me
26. Buenas noches → Goodnight
27. Adiós, buenas noches → Goodbye, have a good night
28. Que duermas bien → Sleep well

My understanding of how to use words depending if their masc or fem is to see the last two words
For example: la mesa (both words end with an a)
El cuaderno ( el has two different meanings) el-the él-him/he
A way I also understand how to use fem and masc words is if the word ends with ar,er, or ir
Words that end with ar(bailar,cantar,estudiar) get turned into
Yo-o, tu-as, el-a ,nosotros-amos ,ellos-an
Words that end with er and ir (como,vender,decir,repetir)always get turned into
Yo-o, tu-es,el-e, nosotros-emos, ellos-en
Also these words are only used when it’s the present.
Example: yo como (I eat)
Yo digo (I say)
Yo canto(I sing)

Edit (what u said about Spanish and japanese is probably true. We have the same perception with Portuguese as well, the sounds are quite similar)

One weird way I remember Ayuda is that is sounds like “Ein Jude” or “a Jew” in German. I remember it because of the wolfenstine “I’m from Arizona” meme

i’m so confused on what this is supposed to do besides create more waste for hyper consumerism. buying clothes just to return them USED, is how that all goes back into a landfill. target isn’t gonna put those clothes back on shelves, and ultimately they are all going to go back into the trash. i understand wanting to get ur money back for clothes that maybe you don’t need, but bringing back used clothes for store credit bc it no longer fits who it was made for anymore, after being used a lot, is so mind boggling.
