Yeah, it is pretty easy for Page to come back. They issue a signature guitar at a ridiculous price and then Page gets paid a lot of money. It's not like it's some amazing accomplishment for Gibson.

Gibson is the Apple of guitars. They're highly overrated, too expensive for what they are, and most of them suck.

The recent higher-caliber Epiphones have been amazing and I sure hope they have models for Jimmy as well...the Gibsons will likely be out of the range of most players, and by a lot.

They already have a $1300 version
They already have the $900 version - the Epiphone 1959 Les Paul Limited Edition Reissue.
With its all-Gibson electronics to include Burstbucker pickups, if its player plugs straight into a UK-voiced tube amp, Mr. Page's Zeppelin tones are right there - no pedals needed.
The Epiphone version will be like $1699 and the Gibson standard version will be like $3499 and the collectors edition will be like 30k

@@MoreMeRecording...he's played live using Gibson LP's for his entire career. The majority of iconic photos are of Page playing Gibson guitars because that's what he used at every Zep show and beyond beginning April 1969.

I wanted to be a drummer, until the day I heard whole lotta love and saw a picture on the german pop magazine (only true dinosaurs will remember pop magazine) of JP with his burst Les Paul. I guess I don’t need to say more… I plug a Les Paul through a Marshall and Im a happy man. Thank you Mr. Page 👍🏻🙏🏻

Funny enough Jimmy is playing a Fender electric XII on the recording for stairway in the twelve string parts. He used the double neck in concerts for efficiency.
