The existence of Donald Blake used to confuse me because I never understood what happened with that origin
A few things, he didn’t transport Asgard to the dimension of blood, just the gods within it, he transported Asgard somewhere else. It even says that he was completely alone. If they had all been transported together Lady Sif would have kept fighting. Secondly, you’re really downplaying the horror Thor sees when he arrives in Blake’s prison. All of the constructs there have been brutally murdered and it even mentions that he spent years dissecting some of them, and those messages scrawled on the walls and road isn’t just graffit, it’s written in the blood of the constructs. And finally, Donald doesn’t encounter Jane Foster in a surgical suite, that’s clearly a morgue.

Thor, the X-books, Immortal Hulk, Guardians, Daredevil, and Venom are all amazing. Marvel has been kicking ass for the last year and half or so. The Falcon and Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, and Black Widow books are good also. I think Marvel is back!

You know. I always like the Donald Blake part of Thor, though it has been absent for many years. In a strange way, I'm on Blake's side, the other characters do have a habit of forgetting the mortals around them.
This story sounds more interesting than Knull one just wonder it's all connected some how since they mentioned how Thor was first break Knull connection with his dragon

Wow I normally wasn’t a big Thor fan but this new style of writing is awesome. Love the retcon for Donald Blake. Thor finally has a complex character in his rogues gallery. I feel as if I were reading detective comics right now. We got the mor rational joker on asgardian steroids.
Is there a time when Asgard's troops actually do something? They just seem to die.
i think it’s because most people that can bust into asgard are ultra powerful beings that can match or go beyond thor/odin in some cases, ofc here donald didn’t bust into asgard but similar cases in the past, they’re probably only good for invading smaller worlds to conquer

Another Great synopsis recap. I was recommended this during the whole galactus/thor team up arc in the beginning of this volume. That was a great read and so is this prey arc. Question: Do you plan on doing something for when Milestone comes back in February?

Its a possibility that blake kills knull and absorbs his power and he becomes the main villain or blake and thor become one and kill knull
@@Sam5D I'm not sure Blake will take the win from Knull narratively since it seems either Eddie, Dylan or Thor are being set up for that but Blake is a wild card that can totally shift the meta of where this is going and how Knull is bested.
I honestly think that Donald Blake will end up battling Knull and one will die in the process before Thor can escape

@@sigurd-333 Well my friend I suppose it is because Marvel, the M of the MCU has that other medium that churns out "epic comic storyline" plus the likelihood of breaking a million both domestically and internationally is a temptation that both the heads and shareholders at Disney find to hard to resist. Legit question, though.

I'm a DC. I've never read a Thor comic in my life but I'm giving serious consideration to picking this up the next time I go to the comic book store.
Since Donay Kates is also writing King in Black, he'll probz make Thor have a fight with Knull since lightning is a weakness of the symbiote.
Not really a weakness (last time I checked, anyways, could be wrong), but it's more like how Superman is "weak" to magic, in the sense that he's as susceptible as a regular person to magic and doesn't have a resistance to it. Similar thing can be said for symbiotes. They don't really have a weakness to electricity, they're just as weak as a human to it. Though, like I said, I could be wrong. Especially since I think I remember some stories where symbiotes ethier 1, had no weakness to electricity or 2, were extremely weak to electricity.
Yup, Thor is fighting Knull on the cover to King in Black #3.
@@JWuKong95 I think it might because Thor accidentally broke Knull’s connection to the symbiotes before and they might make that a special thing only he(or a few beings) can do.
