As a native DC resident, we refer to the park as Malcom X park. You must not be from here? I don't like the washer/dryer in the Condo because they're too small. I prefer the much larger washer/dryer I've seen in some DC apartments/Condos. Also, I don't like that area near 14th & Park Rd. NW near the Giant because too much drunks, drug addicts, and crime are in that area. I like Crestwood, Shepherd Park, North Portal Estates, and Colonial Village neighborhoods in Ward 4. Mayor Bowser lives in Colonial Village.
A lot of the homes in the area are older homes built in the early 1900’s when bars were a common occurrence. Some folks who have owned their homes for decades just never bothered to take them off.
lol... Don't do Malcolm X park like that. Who you selling to cuz...? You didn't include any history about the Meridian name, 16 street tour, and the latin history and population in Columbia Heights

You’re correct, Crestwood , shepherd park and colonial village are awesome neighborhoods. Have a video coming soon on shepher park!
