That is basically a remote controller the actual good stuff is trill plugged in. Its like taking the batteries out of your TV remote. Still works you just can't change the channel. It will stay in the mode it was already in.

Hey Karz, I have a question on the JMS Boost Max vid you made. Did you ever make a follow up video on the JMS boost max ?? How is it now ?? Can you run the JMS Boost max stock with no supporting mods like AmericanMuscle advertised? Asking because I am considering on buying the JMS Boost Max for power but not voiding my warranty at the same time. Btw great video on the throttle enhancer, also bought one for my car and it’s awesome!!
It's perfectly fine now. The car definitely runs much stronger with the boost max turned up. I think it's a great alternative to those who don't want to reflash the ecu, or spend more money on other piggyback devices like the JB4.

I haven’t heard anyone run JB4s on our mustang ecos, but I am still deciding on either the JMS Boost Max because I’ve heard people use it (but with mixed reviews) or JB4 and Ive heard people use it with positive reviews(positive reviews but not from mustang eco users). Also kinda leaning toward the JMS Boost Max because it was mainly made for our mustang ecos. Btw great Channel been watching you for a while now along with other small car channels.
Well it gets power from the pedal sensor. So either the connector at the harness has a bad connection, the wire going from the harness to the device is bad, or the device itself is bad. From my experience, the wires at the connectors can be wonky. I'd check and make sure all of the wires are seated correctly in the connectors and go from there. 🙂
@@tactout_motorsports661av9 very possible. It's not like they are top notch quality, made with the best components available 😅 a dud or two should be no surprise. Hopefully the replacement works out for you!
It's nice to be able to adjust the throttle sensitivity on the fly. I change it around quite a bit depending on how I want the car to feel. It definitely helps you feel more connected to the car. With the said I wouldn't spend the money some of these things cost. Anything over $200 isn't worth it. Stay as low as possible and it's justifiable for its purpose.

It will work as stock even if you disconnected. The wire will still connect from the pedal to the original so nothing will happen.
I just imagine that all the dealership techs and local mechanics when you see you they say “Aw shit it’s Kirk again” 😂

Be very careful. These 9Drives are cheaply made and will short out over time and cause reduced engine power until removed.
What’s the point of that anyway usually they do nothing
Changes the throttle curve. Opens the throttle plate quicker and slightly open more (or slower and less for eco mode).
