Villagers of Ioannina City is a folk rock band from Ioannina, Greece, formed in 2007. They play post, stoner and psychedelic rock with a large dose of Greek folk music from the region of Epirus.

Been a fan of this band for awhile now. Trying to get everyone to listen to this talent!! Wrong song choice though….they have some AMAZING live stuff on CZcams (alive in Athens is the best). Should try the songs: Age of Aquarius or Cosmic Soul, or Father Sun!!! 🖤
Love the simple thick drum groove throughout, overall a little Monster Magnet sounding, but a cool original twist. Would def crank this in the car. This is a good cup of tea.
Never heard of this band before but I enjoyed this immensely. Loved the driving riff throughout, right in my wheelhouse when I'm looking to zone out with these type of sounds. Looking forward to exploring more of this band.
