That is a great video, thanks. I have watched videos from equipment manufacturers that were far less thorough and informative, and did not present their machine nearly as well as you have.
👍
Je connaissais mais n'était pas sûr que ça valait quelque chose, ton retour est intéressant 😉
Great video. Going to get 100w fiber soon, love how informative this is.
Very impressive video, presents a very impressive laser machine, I love your machine and work!💓
Congratulazioni per la spiegazione from Italy good d product
Awesome video thank you ! One question please about the frequencies you have used. I see lower power fibre lasers have a wider range of frequencies e.g 20K upwards but a 50W fibre , the lowest frequency is 50KHz - 100khz , do you know the pros/cons of having a lower frequency available on the lower power lasers? I understand the power vs frequency differences, but just wondered what you cant do with a 50W (min 50Khz) vs 20W (20Khz - 100Khz) thanks
Is it just completely open with no shielding?
To my ear, your voice has dulcet tones which I find soothing, but hard to understand - probably due to my age and hearing abilities!
However, the closed captions were not working correctly and there was much about this video which I wanted to understand yet was left behind because of the CC.
As with all of your videos, very comprehensive and interesting. I will have to watch this one a few more times to get the most from it.
Thanks for a (another) great video.
Ok, I did upload captions,. I will check them.
Nice bit of kit. Cool that it did stones. Shame it is pretty costly.
I'm going to check if an open source arduino machine exist. But vert good explanation. Thank you sir.
Could this laser also be used for cutting textiles (like cotton, synthetic,...) to be used as shaped badges?
No it is not good at cutting textiles.
Great Review, thanks. Would this machine be suitable to make a branding iron and dies for heat stamping? Or would a cnc (something like a woodmads 3020) be a better option to do this?
You can do that on both.
@@techydiy Ok thank you!
when making PCB, please also mention the size of the track/trace and the size of the clearance. If just some random large size of track/clearance, it's not very usual, when you have a chance, you can try to make all different sizes from 0.1mm, 0.15mm, 0.2mm ...see how good the machine is. 0.2mm is good.
Sure.
What keeps the laser's high output from getting to the base? Do you have to use a special spoil board underneath?
The metal plate blocks the laser.
What happens to the P.C.B. if it is merely imported as an antiquated image file such as a bitmap trace layout pattern from a copy paste scenario? In order to define the hole locations ("for drilling") does it have to come from a proprietary ("approved p.c.b. turn-key") source or can it be added to the pads as a modification as an "aftersight"? Please advise!
It was exported out of eagle pcb design software/ now part of fusion 360
So when I push mark to see my outline of what I’m about to engrave it doesn’t work why is that?
Wow - what a great review! I have to ask - have you seen any other desktop lasers which would mark metal just as well, even if they can't cut? much as I love this the price in canada is quite high, and i have very modest needs. I really love those engraved stones though 🤩🤩
for a fibre this is cheap.... you can use very high power diodes but they will mark stainless steel Aluminium and Titanium only and they will be very slow compared to this and with a fibre laser you can mark anything just about . My advice "Save up and get this " or a 30 watt Haitian a little bit cheaper
Nice! Where can I get more info on this laser? Will it cut 1/16" stainless steel? How much is the laser? How reliable? Parts and service available? Learning curve steep? We use an Epilog Fusion 40 120 Watt C02 currently for non-metal engraving and cutting.

What's the selling price of this machine per order from the Philippines?
Would this product be good for engraving 3d imagery. Surfaces with uneven typology.
Yes, you can. I don't know if it is the best machine for that though.

Where are the test files you mentioned in the video?
Link in the first comment
Any reason you didnt test it for engraving/cutting transparent/coloured acrylics?
Presumably its not ideal for that?
Its the wrong type of laser.
Yeah I guess this machine is too powerful for that.
It is more complex than power. A co2 laser is better for cutting acrylic.
What's the max size engraving on that lens?
110*110mm
How is it compares to basic2? Is basic2 more precise?
Hi, same engraving ability
Can you cut thin stainless steel with this?
Yes
Didnyou try acryl to cut or engrave ?
It doesn't engrave acrylic
@@techydiy really ? Because xtools S1 has a laser with 1064nm which can handle metall and also acrylic. So I thought the Faser laser could also do this. O man engraving and not cutting
It didn’t work for me
Wow it's so fast... And detail.. How much this machine? Do you ever Try Mr. Carve M4, sir, I search ing Laser Engraved to start a business
not going to lie ... the pcb thing alone would make me consider it. But alas the price I can't quite justify.
1:56 Did you understand all that? 🤣
works engraving wood?
Hi, our machine can engrave coated wood, like this: www.youtube.com/@EM-Smart-US/search?query=wood
my 20w fiber laser wont even scratch the surface...not sure why
If it is a 20w fiber it should easily mark metal, I would speak to the support for whoever makes it.
Safety stickers can be avoided... With my work I do courses and I don't need to look at those stickers
seems quite overpriced
not worth it
