- In this video, I show you around my room in Rotterdam back in 2020! YAY!
I stayed in this apartment for approximately 2.5 months (from the end of 2019 to the beginning of 2020). I really enjoyed my time and experience there! However, it does has its pros & cons.
🏠Basic Info:
Building Name: Lee Towers
Location: Rotterdam, the Netherlands
My room's size: 65.5 Square metre (corner room)
My room's floor: 19th
Rent: 1,056 euros/month (back in 2019) *I know they had significantly raised their rent later
👍Pros:
1. conveniently located, 1 mins walk from Metro station Marconiplein, supermarkets and malls 7 mins walk
2. fully furnished and well-equipped (very convenient for short-term lease)
3. rooms are relatively new
4. view is stunning (if you stay on a higher floor)
5. gas, water, electricity, heating included in the rent
👎Cons:
1. room was quite dirty when moved in and many inventories were missing.
2. the design of the window (while the view is stunning) is not suitable for residential purposes considering the strong wind in Rotterdam. And it can break easily!
3. shared infrastructures were poorly-maintained, e.g. elevators often broken
4. staffs there can be inefficient sometimes (but overall I found them nice)
5. sometimes can feel unsafe, as one time the repairers came into my room without any notifications, and the staff entered my room to deliver the inventories also without any notifications, which scared me.
