- My Melancholy Blues - played the same way Freddie did when he recorded the song in the studio. This is probably one of my favorite piano tracks Freddie ever made. I do believe that this song is probably in the top 3 most underrated Queen songs.

Hi! This is also one of my favourite Queen song. Probably because it has much different style compared to others songs. Like sitting in a bar in the 1920s, surrounded by melancholic ambient.

Ja, das Stück ist nicht sehr bekannt...sehr wahrscheinlich, weil es nicht um Rock/Pop geht, aber eher um Jazz/Blues...ist aber einzigartig, meiner Meinung nach sehr unterschätzt. Mit freundlichen Grüßen.

Hi! Wonderful playing:) I was curious, is there a specific chord progression to this song that would make it easier to learn? Or maybe perhaps you know what kind of music theory is needed in order to be able to play such type of music? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks and keep covering Queen darling ^^
Hi, thanks. There definitely is some sort of chord progression. However, it is true that Freddie never used simple/usual chord progression (referring to piano based songs) that you find in modern popular songs. My advice would be: listen to the song quite a few times because the most important thing for this song is to get the feeling for swing rhythm, then get the chords or try to find some sheet music.

Sorry, as far as I know the sheet music for original piano track doesn't exist.
@EyeZackZin Hi, thanks for posting the link. Sorry, I automatically thought “beeninhardy21” asked me about the notes of my version that I uploaded on youtube. I checked quickly the sheet music (your link that you posted) and the scores are of course slightly different overall, especially at the beginning and at the end. However, they are still quite similar, so I believe that this scores might be a perfect choice for somebody who wants to play the piano track.
