This made me realize actually how well made Plants vs. Zombies was. It has such good music and visuals.

The red stuff on the bucket on the buckethead zombies isn’t actually blood, but rather red paint from the unused buckethead painter zombie, the bucket was the bucket of red paint.

You know how in TV shows, when they try to parody other shows or video games they have to alter the look and everything to avoid legal trouble if they couldn't get the proper rights to use it.
Yeah the first rip off looks like if South Park tried to make a Plants vs Zombie parody. Mainly the Pea Shooter and possibly the Sunflower as well.

There is literally no reason to get this. The original game is free, sure it has ads and micro transactions, but it's worth it for the game
The problem is, mobile PVZ wasn’t always free, it used to be about 7.99, it was only a few years ago that they changed PVZ to be free with ads, however, people who bought it didn’t get refunds, now they just paid 7.99 for a game with ads
The same thing happened with certain sonic games, such as sonic 4 mobile
Was paid originally, but in an update became free with ads, anyone who bought it before that update now just paid for a game with ads
Not to mention, most people report PVZ’s “no ads” micro transaction doesn’t even work

As someone who beated that whole game, you're right! It may copy pvz, but it still ads unique stuff and some cool mechanics. So it is less of a rip-off and more of a game inspired by pvz

The sad thing is that if they actually put more effort into the 2nd and 4th ones and made more unique concepts like they already have then they could actually be good games, they have some good concepts but they do seem like they are meant to be ripoffs

Here's the thing about Plants vs. Goblins: the goblins actually look pretty alright (not sure why you critiqued the head size. That's a very common artistic choice with cartoony art styles like this.) But why on EARTH are the plants so F*CKING HIDEOUS in comparison?????
Also, I'd never seen PvZ 3 before. Holy shit, it looks absolutely horrendous. The art style is one of my favorite parts of the first game and I'm disgusted seeing 3 lol

I've experienced moments of triumph and moments of defeat in Plants vs Zombies, but through it all, I've had a blast

the 2nd to last one is not a ripoff, its just similar. it added new mechanics such as the mines, reloading and losing when 3 people die. any tower defense game has to have enemies that are different levels of strength, so the chef zombie isn't a ripoff of the cone head, its the equivalent to the cone head.

Holy jeez- plants vs goblins was my childhood (I was confined to an Amazon Fire tablet which only had bad ripoff games D:)
I remember wanting pvz so bad and begging my mom for it, but the tablets had this instead. I was so happy that I got to play some form of pvz that I tried to ignore how bad everything was.
I stopped playing it after a while because it got too difficult. The main problem was that it decreased your seed slots as you went along, I think that you had to pay real money to get more, but I don't completely remember. But before that point, I was the *best* at it.

I remember my brother asking for plants vs zombies 2 but my mom accidentally got us the knockoff zombies vs plants 2 (yes that was the actual name of it) it was borderline unplayable
I've noticed two other things on the Ninja vs Zombies: War in Desert
1. The zombie on the thumbnail itself looks exactly like the browncoat you would see on the normal Plants vs. Zombies title screen.
2. Apart from the mentioned Ra Zombie ripoffs that are in that game, the flooring that you "plant" on isn't from Ancient Egypt. The flooring and the wooden fence at the top of the grid is actually from Wild West, this itself was just copied and pasted into the game.
