Leps world is such a throwback man, i remember playing the original game and sequels so much on my old ipod. Has so much nostalgia factor to it. Somehow i didnt make the connection between it and mario until recently.

@@vinhphanquoc690 depends which one you played , there's lep's world 1 , 2 and 3 , in one of them the bosses were knights with a wizard guy being the final boss and in the 3rd game i think the bosses were all goblins

I remember playing Lep's World as a kid, so I have fond memories of it. Sure, it wasn't the best game on the app store, but it was decent enough.

Lep's world is a game i hold dearly, it's incredibly nostalgic to me and i used to play it plenty, and it was incredibly fun, though i was like 4 or 5 when i did play it so....
I remember seeing a few ads for Mario ripoffs that straight up actually used gameplay, sounds or music from Mario games
And models and textures
I remember playing these sussy mario fard rip offs, they were always terrible. I was so happy when i figured how to use an emulator lol (i was finally able to play actual mario games)
My first actual Nintendo console was the 3ds and i only had a Xbox 360 at the time. (I later got a Wii U and a Switch so i could play the latest mario games) I wasn't sure if the 3ds was my thing, but, oh boy, it was! It felt really good to play some Nintendo games on the actual hardware.

The level maker one reminded me of a platformer game that I used to play on the PC. It's about an old lady rescuing her cats from Tiki people. I remember messing around with the level maker.

The worst case I saw was a mobile rip-off that actually had an ad on CZcams. The ad, and I can't couldn't make this up if I tried, literally just used footage of New Super Mario Bros. U. And to add insult to injury, the game no only looks nothing like the game advertised, but does look identical to every other game in that series. Yes, it's an entire series. I don't remember what the games were called as I saw it just before I went to bed after a long day at work, but I can't forget the absurdly blatant infringement.
If you make another one of these, you have to include Bob's world. It is pretty much a STRAIGHT UP rip-off of Mario. In the ads for this game, Bob is literally just a recoloured Mario and there is literally no change to Luigi, Peach and Toad in the same adds. They weren't even trying to hide the fact that's a rip-off.

Lep's World is AWESOME. At first my sibling plays this, then I decided to take a try.
The game featuring hidden corns though. And there are 3 sequels. Crazy.

If you are interested, Thomas Game Docs made an entire video centered on a Mario rip-off called "Bob's World". Basically, he found an ad that used stolen footage from an animation channel so he played the game that was linked to that ad.

Honestly Lep’s world is very iconic I’d say tbh. I beat that whole game twice maybe even 3 times on my ipad and iPod touch when I wasn’t at home and couldn’t play my wii or n64 before I got a 3ds. Clearly a Mario rip but a decently enjoyable game lol

As an irish person myself, I can prove we sleep on piles of gold, throw pinecones at bugs and snails and are all leprechauns, I thought that was what we are all known for.
I play Level maker quite a lot, and it isn't a mess. Just because most levels made by people STINK, it was still great. The community is huge, and there was a new update A DAY after you uploaded this video.
