I love the original Issey its fabulous in hot weather much nicer and more complex than Light blue
Light Blue is just gross to me. It smells chemically, like air freshener.

Rose & Rose is actually the first ever "rose" perfume I ever liked because it doesn't smell like the traditional rose, the grandma-like smell. This really wowed me and my best friend that she ended up buying it.
In my early 20s , I used Issey miyake Florale (pink bottle) loved the scent , so fresh and feminine and age appropriate. I sniffed the sample the other day in the shop and it brought me back to my young wild days memory ❤️❤️
So helpful! I couldn't remember which issey miyake fragrances I like, but I know that I really just did not like some of the ones I smelled before becuse of how sweet it comes off on me though I do love freshness. This helps break down the ones I may like more than the one I've tried before. Definitely want to pick up like 4 of these! I literally added the Summer 2018 in my cart earlier because I didn't know if there was a difference besides just the packaging, but you saying that the grapefruit was omitted from that version definitely made me go back to put the other one in my cart instead because I absolutely love grapefruit in fragrances. Thank you! So much help.

Thank you for this great video, I only use the EAU DE TOILETTE since 15 years ago, and want to keep my signature scent but maybe try other versions, this video was super helpful to choose the right one. I also like how you segment the videos!

Since many years leau d'issey, was one of my signature scents durrent the summer and spring time, just love this soft, amazing floral/aquatique freshness, so feminine, not offensive and just such a beautyfull fragrance (i used to use the original EdP version of it, just my jam:), so underrated in my eyes!:) glG from austria, katharina:*

Love love that range of perfume. No matter how many bottles of other perfume I have, there was always a bottle of Issy in my collection. My wedding perfume was 2015 summer edition. ☺️☺️ after the divorce, I haven’t used Issy for a while now. I think it’s time for me to go back to it after watching your lovely video xoxo

I’ve wanted to buy L’eau D’issey Pure since I was looking for perfume with a hint of sea note to it, but have seen reviews online saying that it smells like sour lily in The Valley and is unwearable or that the smell is too sharp. I don’t know whether if I should buy it or not based on those reviews but all the notes present in the perfume really attracts me.

I have to completely disagree about the orginal being linear! At least on my skin, it's one of my perfumes that changes the most with time! I actually dont like the sharpness of the first half an hour wearing it, but then the melon notes blooms out and it become more and more devine as time goes by! I'm actually on the search since at least 2 years of a perfume that has this kind of melon note in it! So far I had no luck with that 🤷

Love all your descriptions. I just started using Issey Miyake and I am obsessed! I am going to order some of the ones you mentioned but there is one in particular...... Pure. I can't find that one. All that comes up is Pure Nectar and I really want Pure because of all the aquatic notes you talked about. I live in New York. Any idea who sells this one?

In my opinion, the main difference between the EDT and the EDP, the EDP is a more generic "aquatic" scent and i cant smell as many notes, and it isnt as strong. The EDP is more "perfumey" and is aquatic but the lily is very prominent, and it lasts on me until i wash it off in the shower!! Only perfume EVER that lasts more than 3 hours on me and gets me compliments. Its crazy

I listened your comments about pure petal nectar and bought it.But there is no nectar smell but an awful wood smell.I hate it.
It would be good if you had these perfumes in hand whilst describing them- or even samples...just to refresh your memory and will evoke more description
