Good morning from London England 🇬🇧 & and I wanted to wish all the mums there in North America a Happy Mother's Day! ❤️💐
Thanks Johnny, I travelled these streets a lot in the 80s and 90s, even worked as a DJ at Fillmore’s for awhile. Amazing how much things have changed and yet somehow remain the same.
Great job Jhonny .. and good morning from Montreal QC .. thanks again my friend .. super awesome super amazing upload ..
Finally I see someone I know in your stream. I hope to see myself here someday. Good luck, bro!
Always a great video enjoyed very much😊😊
Happy Mother’s Day to your mom Johnny!
good morning everyone
GM. Happy 😊 Mother's Day to ur Mom. ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏😊
Good morning 😸
Happy Mother's Day to all moms around the world!
Vancouver Downtown East is also considered a dangerous area. Same for many cities worldwide.I wonder wide.
Hello good morning 😮 ni
I’m from Sweden and wanted to watch the video because I’m planning on visitng Toronto.
I found it hilarious that the video starts in ”IKEA city”.
lol
Just checked the article out. Cool! 👍
Great job Johnny
Good morning guyd
Definitely a go zone for me lol, I live in this hood now, it's really not so bad, rent is even a bit lower
Ok so just as I wrote a few hours later this I was driving along Gerrard going back home when I'm sure I gave a wide enough berth on a turn and this pedestrian hit my right rear of the car and did a bit of damage to signal light cover... 🤔 But could happen anywhere... I'm sure I wasn't out of line
Ironically my girl bestie met me once near the hotel I used to frequent (at Bond and Dundas East) and mentioned how sketchy it felt to her. I never stayed there after that though it’s no longer a hotel now.
Papa John's is truly an affront to humanity, the worst pizza I've ever had. I live on Pembroke too, I've met Ken a couple times
There are some bad chains out there but Papa Johns almost seem like they are TRYING to make bad pizza. You can't create something that awful without a bit of effort.
I'll be honest I didn't watch this video because there isn't any no go zones in Toronto. We are the fourth largest city in North America and we are very safe
Much safer than Montreal and Vancouver of course.
To be fair he did add a "not really" although many people might label it as so, rather than no-go I'd say "rather not go" I live in the neighbourhood btw
@RichardHartl I honestly don't feel that toronto has any no go spots.
Interesting video. I think you've become a big fan of IKEA hot dogs.🤣
lol
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
7:15 ..."Not so much... ?"...
Well, someone was killed in that area this morning!
What a difference between Ken's neighbourhood (Sherbourne/Dundas) and your neighbourhood (Yonge/Eglinton). Ken has cheap rent because of his rough neighbourhood and his smaller suite; You have cheap rent because of rent control.👍
welcome to the hood johnny, hahahahaha..................
As a healthy young male, you clearly wouldn't be the first target for the gangs or homeless crazies in this area. I know these areas very well (and coincidentally you just walked by a location that somebody was beaten to death yesterday.). So I wouldn't be saying this is a safe area.
The Regent park gangs feed off of these unfortunate drug addicts you were walking by. Yes the Regent park gangs have not gone anywhere. Most of the shootings or stabbings happen at night. As for Regent park, which is only a couple blocks east, all the city has done has put lipstick on a pig and put a lot of cameras on the streets over there. It's still a ghetto.
There's a reason Brinks won't pick up at the Dollarama on Sherbourne. And you go down there some nights, really late, it's like an angry block party at the corner of Shuter and Sherbourne.
Toronto's homicide #30 in 2024, Dalhousie Street/Shuter Street.
@@laughingkor8643 yup. Sad.
Please, Johnny. Get a police escort next time. It will save them a lot of work.
