I looked up the # inside the fuel door. This MM (mini mover) was converted into an SV (service vehicle) and used to transfer U-Haul equipment, hence the tow bar mounts and wire looper on the top of the old bumper. The 711 number on the back door was/is a location code for Van nuys Ca. marketing company. FYI! Keep up the good work player!
Any idea why it has an exterior fuel door and the separate tank in the back? Was it delivering fuel to uhauls that had run dry?

Our family runs the angel tree for our town of Adamsville Tn. This I believe is the 50 something year We got to provide for 70 kids this year. Keep giving to the kids.

I just gotta say, i love the hour long videos man! it's the absolute highlight of my week when i get to watch your videos!
Also, as an engineering student and avid googler, the shear strength of a 1/2 in bolt is about 10,000 pounds. multiply that by two to get 20000 and then add in a safety factor of 10, you could safely hang the entire truck from those two bolts. (according to fastenal online calculator.) That being said, i would probably upgrade those to some smooth shank bolts, to make sure there aren't any concentrated pressure points.
Those bolts are in a double shear configuration. It’ll be fine.

You should put a Weber carburetor on that too you'll have lots more power then.
Hey Puddin' I'm pretty sure that choke plate was still closed while you were adjusting the carb. Before you go tuning on her again ya' might wanna run a manual choke cable or at least wire the choke open, also that little port on the side of the carb (electric choke) will definitely need a plug 😁

When welding cast iron always run your voltage at like 25 volts depending on wire speed or use a torch just to heat what your welding helps promote penetration . Looks good though

I’d suggest a Webber 2bbl and an adapter kit if needed.
Those things run great on small engines.
Often don’t need to jet either.
Just air screw adjustment and away you go!
He makes his own adapters. He's got Webbers on a couple of his Datsuns.

Use Grade 8 bolts at a minimum, and safety chain. A better idea is hardened steel pins.

I can't begin to count the number of vehicles I flat-towed when I was younger and vehicles had bumpers strong enough to clamp on a towbar. No one ever tied the steering wheel. The Tow Bar on the uhaul Courier is the best feature , anybody with a tow ball can tow you home ! Don't leave home without it lol
