Hi! Nice video. Can you help me giving me the part number of the rear differential? Here in my country the dealer does not have the part and I want to import it. They also don't want to give me the part number, they want to import it at a very high cost

Awesome video. I have a 2022 Honda CR-V EX AWD with 16,000 miles (just hit 16,000 miles). Is it a must to change the rear differential fluid now, or can it wait for my next oil change? which would then be at 21,000 miles.

This is a great question, I believe the first differential fluid change is the most important one to get right, this is because it’s the main break-in period for your brand new gears in the differential wearing together. It’s recommended typically the first one is done between 15k-20k miles. You should be fine if you wait to do it at 21k, but just don’t wait to do it any longer than that.
You will notice while draining the fluid for the first time that there will be some metallic colored liquid, which is the metal shavings from the gears. It is usually a little excessive the first diff fluid change, and on the drain plug there is a magnet that should have a ton of metal shavings (metallic looking stuff).
      Hope this helps!

This helps a lot. The dearship did not mention anything about changing the rear differential fluid once my CR-V reached 15,000 miles when I purchased the car. That would have been nice to know sooner. Better late than never, I guess. Again, thank you, sir, and keep making awesome videos. It helps. God bless.

Hi Vinnie, after performing the first rear differential fluid replacement, the next replacement should be done once every 30,000 miles correct?
Based on research, it should be done between 30,000 and or 60,000 miles after the first rear differential fluid replacement. Is this correct for Honda CR-Vs? Or does this very depending on vehicle brand?
I forgot to ask theses questions previously. Thank you, and God bless.

Maybe Someone can help me here with the differential. I have to replace the differential on my 2022 Honda CRV 1.5 turbo EXL. When I search on the internet, two codes appear: 41200-5TG-010 and 41200-5TG-900 Is there any difference between both parts? or both fits my car? I´m not in the US
