    This was very detailed and very helpful it’s crazy that they charge almost 900 dollars at all auto repair shops in houston for this on my Hemi

    Would you recommend getting aftermarket high performance spark plugs or just stick to genuine mopar spark plugs

    Hey do you recommend changing coil packs as well or just spark plugs ?

      @ls1camaro92  Před rokem +1

      Just the plugs. Unless a ignition coil needs replaced

      For manufacturer recommendations check the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual: my 2015 Charger w/ 5.7L says 100,000 miles or 10 years, whichever comes first.

      Thank you, Automotive experts recommend that drivers change their spark plugs every 30,000 miles. While others say up to 40k.

    Did you disconnect the battery?

    • @ls1camaro92
      @ls1camaro92  Před 2 lety +3

      You can if you wish. But No. The battery will not cause any problems when changing the plugs. For a car with “Coil on plug” you disconnect the coils before you remove them, so there's no way any high voltage can be generated.
