I'm stocked for the champ, but i wish they added a visual thing like his lantern glowing or his sword being more on fire when his passive activates
Plarium should add a counter on Rathalos passive skill going from 0 to 4, in order to keep track.
It would be very nice of them. Otherwise as we saw in your video, it's very hard to remember when the 5th strike will come : ).
I had some accessories. I was able to go relentless and 4 piece merciless. Can't wait to try on Hydra.

What about add a visual effect or a number that shows how many hits done before reaching the 5th then reset

I have my Rathalos built in relentless and retaliation with a retaliation amulet as well. Going through Mino farming masteries. I'm more of a auto hydra player and will team Rathalos with Cardiel or Lady Mikage to go after max damage thru rapid cycling of turns. I got him up to 229 CD%, but gloves and amulet are not ascended for CD% yet and I can still add over 10% CD thru upgrading great hall. I think it'll be a good build.

in CB u can speed tune to have Ally attack and counter attack helps him reach his a2 as the 5th skill. Hydra is harder with counter attack but u can have a great deal of control with ally attack. In my case where i use 2 emics it makes the deal pretty smooth.
P.S: my ally attack is mikage. So i dont need his A3
I always want to see the whole run. I need to know the full damage lol
I think merciless is universally the best build for nukers n matter what.
But outside that I think the ideal would 3* cruel which would allow him to utilize to a good extent all abilities in different way (e.g. A1/A2 boosted by the atk% or A2 by the 15% ignore def, compared to savage)
For wave clearing, Sear is still the best, although he is a great sub for seer if you don't have her. He will shine the most in Hydra, which for a lot of players will be a huge help! It is what my account needed.
They haven’t had a Krisk event in Ageless and I believe he’s the only champ that I really need besides kymar and siphi

Till i get enough merciless im running relentless and retaliation with a counter attk buf and farkan for multi
His trash merciless gear is better than my best savage/cruel

yeah he can put dmg, the problem is the boss there cleanses the debuffs and attack you when u trigger the passive
Just hear me out…. Speed gear. If anyone can do that build it’s you. He doesn’t necessarily need any of the sets you used however, they definitely increases his damage output. However, with him having 100% ignored offense on bosses I feel like if you build him with as much speed as you can with around the same damage stats, he will be at his best. Or. Once you get 9 pc merciless lol.
Merciless would be nice, but for me, only 172 KDmg 😂
For auto he needs no skill upgrade and no set, no counters no ally atack

Most other content creators have been complaining about blade master not hitting hard and I’m just like I’m not even having issues and my account is not as good as yours.
I thought spider cant have burn on him on hard?
No he is and has a mechanic where he heals some from burns so it's less effective but can still be used. Also still doubles (increases, not doubles) DMG versus the small spiders so when you kill them the boss takes DMG as well.
@@dukekessler6292 reading it right now. Boss has a passive imune to burn. Yes i know the spiderlings can my point was he doesnt get bonus dmg on spider
@@michaelprick Skratch pointed it as well that the boss is immune. He still deals massive DMG and it clears the spiderlings dealing massive DMG. Can definitely be used for speed runs.
Sorry but if all the content creators start saying he is broken or op rade will nerf him to the ground
When have they ever nerfed a free champ? UDK? Wukong? Ninja? Hell they haven't even nerfed that many legendaries. Siphi, Tormin (indirectly), Rotos, Emic (fixed bug). Who else?
This guy ignores 100% def, so I think he's best with either a 4 piece or 9 piece set. The extra 2 pieces would be better w/ a retaliation or killstroke set.
It benefits his a1 and a3 to ignore def, especially when there's burns out and his 5th doesn't land on a2.
@@sgttoxiiczz Of course that's true. I'd love to see a saph style breakdown of what's better.. 6 piece merciless or 4 piece and 2 piece retaliation. The other skills are just normal, but the a2 is 100% ignore.
@@jenga2017, yeah. I think because he has RNG and situational abilities it becomes a case of getting better use from the gear or getting better use from the champ. I think something live savage/lethal/6+ merciless is more optimal for the champ. Whereas, something like relentless/retaliation is better optimisation of gear. It would be good to see which builds are the most balanced for which content.
If you just want to use him with bosses sure but I doubt you’ll be do much dmg with this guy against bosses.

I have no reason why they would make the spider on a hard not be able to be burned. I guess that one burn would was just too much for the spiders hp idk. Sicia took a serious nerf due to her not being able to burn the boss making her extra turn impossible to get.
I think people are dead on here. For hydra since you want to use his a3 because of all of that aoe damage lethal/6-9 piece merciless is the way to go even if his a2 ignores all boss defense. However I think 4/5 piece merciless+ relentless is the best build for DL clan boss.

So I uploaded my own thoughts on this guy and let’s just say I personally am not loving him. My merciless build is pretty good at the moment but I want to point out that you said to keep him away from a reflex set yet you have him in Merciless. Did you forget that 4 pieces of merciless is 30% chance of skill cooldown? What’s so wrong about having the skill ready but not using it. Saying don’t use ally attack or counterattack is not what I look for in a champ to be good. See this champ just takes too Much set up and requirements to get all the stars aligned. His ease of use is leaning towards very hard for that reason. I’m not subscribing to this pipe dream you guys have for this guy. Anything he does I can get Razelvarg to do 10x better. That was not meant just for the Dragon bro, mainly for Hydra, that's where I will use him. The dragon run was a showcase of how hard he can hit there
