Yeah but a lot of these are just spray n' praying, like that ganon tilt, it was so much danm time, he didn't read the roll at all- he just uptilt and hoped for luigi to roll, and luigi did. Same with the warlock punch at the jumping fox, he just used it and prayed on it, and it worked

I can understand the 1:22 because he probably just reacted to ganon moving with the roll up and by then it was too late. But the 2:22 is one of those bad reads that somehow worked.
Anyone notice the lack of Ice Climbers in new meta? What about the lack of “pro” players that abused certain metas? They had a lot to say until it was unanimous that they won by means of less practice and skill. Why does HBOX hate melee but still play it? Could it be that he still is the highest earner in all of melee? You tel me. How come we’re so worried about Fox simply based on input potential while players with much less experience take victories for simply stalling and other cheeses? Melee never seems to worry about it’s biggest problems while they’re experiencing them, and laugh like “oh I was complaining about that the whole time” once it gets addressed. Idk, this reel is sick and full of people who clearly practice, and that’s why it impresses people who play and follow the game very seriously and casually, and to anyone out there that was a pusher for wobbling and plays matchups to win in a dying game with barely enough money to be made at the top, I hope you enjoy your mindset and lifestyle and decisions, I hope you feel complete with your wins and deserving of them. Maybe one day eyes will open

Another one thats really underrated is Isai's save on Ken from this video ( czcams.com/video/qVyC_K2orYo/video.html&ab_channel=MikeHaggarSSBM ) at the 2:30 mark. One of the better saves/brain plays I've seen. Really impressive considering how Early this was in Melee's timeline

yeah usually when i dsmash sheik and she amsah techs i dont have time to do a bair or something but maybe just mashing shine there to get the knockback stacking could be a good idea
@@Nation123 Yeah it seems optimal tbh since it is fast, low risk, and has the potential to either kill or combo to a kill if they di in to avoid getting killed by the shine.
