- Join me as I journey to @Phantasialand to check out their incredible theme park.
Spend the day with me in possibly the best theme park in Europe. Let’s check out Black Mamba, F.L.Y & Taron.
Flying from Bristol into Cologne, with some sightseeing in the city centre before heading to Bruhl for an overnight stay. A short 7 minute Uber trip to the park, open from 9am - 6pm!
Have you ever visited Phantasialand? What did you think? Do you think they have some of the best rollercoasters in the world?
Flight - Ryanair
VRS from Cologne to Bruhl
Park tickets purchased on Phantasialand website
I love Taron, the theme is perfectly built around the track. The velocity of both launches is great, the top speed too and because of the close surroundings it feels even faster.
You can also get pretty different ride experiences depending where you get seated.
When sitting in the front rows you feel a bit more compression especially after the second launch and in the following rows you will experience more of the lateral forces.
Personally i prefer sitting on the left side a bit more. For me the ride feels a bit more intense than on the right side.
I had never thought that i could like a ride so much, that doesn't offer any inversions and has just a few airtime moments 😅 but it's always fun to ride it.
You have hit the nail on the head there, I can’t wait to get back and just ride it again! Such a great ride
What an amazing vlog that park looks epic!
Thanks so much! It really is!
Had to watch the beginning again! Loved it! Editing is 👌
Haha good teacher! 😎
Thank you so much for this great vlog. It´s always nice to see people which fell in love with the park same like me. I was there a view times, took me more then 6 hours to get there. But worth it any second. Love the face, when you came out from TARON. Most people have tears in the eyes, complete haircut change but alway a honest good feeling of happiness because of the power of the ride. Hope you get a chance to come back. Think about staying Charles Lindbergh which is my absolute Happy Place :-) This Park is amazing. Everytime i step into the park i can leave all the shit behind and enjoy me live. Just Love it.
You summed it up so well. It’s like a ‘moment’ on Taron. The noise of the launches gives you chills. Yes I want to try all the hotels, I will deffo be back soon. Thanks so much for your nice comments
looking at doing 3 nights 3 days here for xmas with the missus and experience all the hotels in one go... got me exited watching this! great vid mate cheers
That sounds like a perfect trip. Make sure you check out the Christmas markets in Cologne too, only a short trip and well worth it. Thanks for the kind words, means a lot!
@@JourneyToTheAttractions oohh will do thank you very much mate looking forward to your day 2 vlog
Tbh i prefer F.L.Y. and also Kärnan over Taron, but so far Taron is a strong top 3 coaster for me. Maybe it will even drop down to rank 5 next summer, because this will be the time i'm goging to Orlando to ride Velocicoaster, actually, and i agree in this point with you, the only coaster i can see beating Taron from those i havent ridden yet.
Have you ever been to Hansa Park? If not, you should really check out this park, it has 2 of the most insane coasters, which also both have several unique elements which i wont spoil, if you planning going there, because you shoul go there as blind as possible. All i can say is: both coasters have dark ride parts, and that for reasons and also incredible theming/stories xD
I can’t wait to do Velocicoaster, Iron Gwazi and Pipeline! I haven’t been but I will certainly check it out next year! Thanks for the recommendation 😀
My daughter has just hit over 1.2 so doing Efteling in July, can do all rides apart from Baron, when’s she’s tall enough for fly we will be heading here and europa park
Great video 😊
Ah perfect, hopefully not too long until 1.4! 🙏🏻 you will love Phantasialand it’s amazing. Thanks for watching
Good shit bro, glad you had a good day!🙏
Thanks bro, appreciate it! Looking forward to yours! 🔥
Great work, guy. Im pretty sure, that wasnt your last time in Phantasialand. Hope for you, the weather will be better next time....😉
Haha thanks so much! I have been back since, check out my latest videos 😀
@@JourneyToTheAttractionsGreat, thanks for the advice.
Hello from Portugal!!! We want to visit Phantasialand in november but we are afraid that will be raining...the atractions still running with rain?
Hello over in Portugal! Yes absolutely, it rained heavily during my visit and I carried on riding. Only cold temperatures and high winds tend to close rollercoasters.
Incredible!!! Thank you for your super rapid answer...sometimes I ask something to youtubers but rarely they give an answer...congratullations!!! I have just subscribed to your channel and I will share with others...sorry my english but I never use the translater...do you think it is a big risk to visit the park in november? I think we need at least 2 days correct? Which hotel in Bruhl you advise?
@@pedroribeiro7984 thank you so much, I will always respond, no matter how big the channel gets. Thank you for subscribing! Means a lot
Looking at going in September but don't know if it's worth just for the one day renting a car from clone airport and drive
The train from the airport to Bruhl is really easy, and there’s a shuttle bus from that station. Really easy to do and avoids the stress of driving and parking etc
@@JourneyToTheAttractions I thought you had to get the train into the center of cologne then catch another
How many days did you do at the park?
Thanks
@@thomasking5061 I chose to get the train into Cologne to take in the sites the day before the park. I planned on doing 2 but with the first day being so quiet I chose to do other stuff on the 3rd day instead. No worries, happy to answer as many questions as you have
@@JourneyToTheAttractions I'm looking at Sunday 3rd of September and being crazy 🤣 flying in at 6 am and flying home same day at 11 pm from Stansted for £36 quid 🥳 just seeing if I'm stupid to think on that date I could get all the rides in I wanted etc and best way to get there with my times and cost effective
Park hours that day are 10 till6
@@thomasking5061 it’s doable. Checkout www.queue-times.com and look at their crowd calendar to see what you can reasonably expect to do in one day. I’d say you would easily get the 5 main rides in a day on a busy day, so expect a couple more in September.
Fun Fact: Chinatown was build by Chinese workers with material from China which was shipped to brühl
That would explain the attention to detail! 😀
I hope you had a second day in Phantasialand, otherwise you might have missed some of the greatest rides out there:
- Colorado Adventure is in my opinion the greatest Familiy Coaster i have ever been on.
- Chiapas is arguable europes best Log Flume.
- River Quest is just insanely well done (but for that weather you had - it might have been to much of a soaking, you often get really wet!).
- Mystery Castle is one of the best droptowers, especially in style and entertainment.
- Hotel Tartüf coolest funhouse i have been to
And many more!
I did miss a couple as I was only there one day, but I like to do that as it only gives me more of a reason to return! 😀
Did you need a slush to get you over the coaster haha
Haha absolutely! Never turn down a cherry flavoured slush! 😂
@@JourneyToTheAttractions I agree ! What's the best ride
@@ashleygallant1073 Taron is the best ride I have done so far!
@@JourneyToTheAttractions so jealous man. But thanks for the vids almost like being there
@@ashleygallant1073 ah no problem at all. Thanks for the kind words, means a lot
Did you miss Mystery Castle and Cracy Bats? Shame on you Sir 😊
I made two videos… come back next Wednesday 👀😎😂
