  • Exploring Victoria: Melbourne to the Murray River
Join us as we embark on the first leg of our epic road trip from Melbourne to Perth over 2 months.
In part 1, you'll see us leave Melbourne, travel through the Yarra Valley, and up to the Murray River - where we enjoyed quintessential Australian bush life beside this iconic river.
Over the course of a couple of weeks, we slowly make our way to South Australia, while savouring campervan life and seeing the area my grandparents grew up.
If you enjoy this, be sure to check out the other 3 legs of our journey - South Australia, Crossing the Nullarbor, and Western Australia.
Here are some of my highlights from this leg of the journey:
    - Leaving Melbourne and starting our adventure.
    - Traveling through the beautiful Yarra Valley.
    - Camping by the Murray River and enjoying the serene views.
    - Exploring Echuca and its historic charm.
    - Journeying towards Swan Hill and Nyah State Forest.
    - Crossing into South Australia and experiencing the changing landscapes.
Filmed using a GoPro, Mavic Mini drone, and an iPhone.

    About Us 👫:
We're an Aussie couple who gave up great jobs in Los Angeles to live a location-independent life and travel the world.
Ricky has worked in the tourism industry for many years and has visited over 80 countries, living in 4 of them! Nat is a master's qualified teacher who runs an online tutoring business. Together, we've been living a nomadic lifestyle since mid-2019.
We both share a passion for travel and love discovering new places. Typically, we spend at least one month in each location we visit, seeking authentic experiences and immersing ourselves in the natural beauty of the region.
Life Dunn Differently is our outlet to share our passion for travel and the lifestyle we've chosen to embrace, and we hope you enjoy seeing a little of our journey.

You should do a vid on 3hrs radius of Melbourne, out of the way places such as Mt Terrick Terrick, Murrindindi State park bteween Yea and Healesville, Whroo state Park, and perhaps a little further To Tamboon Inlet, (my second home), and Cape Everard Light house, (where Cook first sited land ). There is a phenomenal amount to see, Tarra Valley Bulga Park, even in around melbourne, for example Plenty Gorge where you can see Platypus in the wild!

I really enjoyed this Rick, as I’m planning a trip along the Murray this year, awesome spots love it. Was the Maui a electric? Heard you say you had to charge it up? Cheers Judy Qld.

      Thanks Judy.
No, it's not electric but we would need to charge up the batteries for lights, fridge, water pump etc. There were solar panels which reduced the need to do it too often.

@@LifeDunnDifferently ok, I got it, thanks. Had never heard of electric campers that’s why I had to ask. Cheers Judy
