    Nice work, never had to do a set of injectors on my trucks yet. Good tutorial. I've had to bleed my injectors before though. If you get it running and it's still rough, try bleeding one injector at a time while it's running and that should bleed the air out.

      Good solid tip. We tried that method a couple months ago to get a parts truck engine going and it worked really good! Helps to have 2 people with that method too.

    I removed my injectors a week prior to getting news so the truck just sat & once I installed them I followed your steps like in this video but I haven't had any luck getting it started
    It's irritating me wanting to take it to a shop to get it started 😂

      What’s it doing? Gotta bleed those injectors and get diesel in the lines and air out!

      @@keeprtuned I've never had a problem when bleeding my injectors. I expect to have less issues than you had near the end of this video. The trick is to just let the engine run while tightening those nuts. Just part of the charm of being a Cummins owner.

    I hope this isn’t to old to ask but is there injector sleeevs in those holes because I bought injectors that are 7mm and the holes for the injectors are 9mm and I got adapter sleeves for it so I just want to know if there are actual injector sleeves in these holes

    • @trailduster6bt
      @trailduster6bt Před 3 měsíci

      His is a 93, so it should be made for 7mm injectors. It you have an 89, 90, or early 91, it will be 9mm.

    Is it ok to upgrade to bigger injectors for more power without turning up or messing with the pump?

    • @keeprtuned
      @keeprtuned  Před 8 měsíci

      Turning up the pump will give you more fuel and so will the new injectors. I would do things in order haha. You’ll also want to make sure you have some good airflow to match all the fuel consumption or you’ll end up just rolling coal

    Where did you get your injectors? Also anything specific about them when ordering them?

    • @keeprtuned
      @keeprtuned  Před rokem

      A good source is industrial injection. They are extremely knowledgeable and I wouldn’t go over 70hp injectors without planning on upgrading your engine or transmission etc

    My injectors are leaking oil from where the o-rings are located. I'm 100% sure it's oil and not fuel and 100% sure its not coming from the valve covers or any other location. The injectors have never been removed. 1993 W350 Cummins.

    No offense but when you are referring to nuts and bolts you don't label them by what size the head is. Example: the injectors are most definitely not a 19mm nut, that's just the Size wrench required to remove them.
