I haven't touched COD in 6months and haven't really enjoyed it in a few years - I miss playing a good first person shooter and I hope I enjoy this.

The whole party thing section of the video you said was wrong they have a system were they will match party against party. They did that to help solos.

Curious to see how weapon meta is from MKB vs Controller. May end up trying both since I come from a CS and Halo background but use Mouse on one and the sticks on the other.

Well the matchmaking even in casual said it will try to match party's together so it may actually make it harder for you to play well.
I have it preloaded and I changed my settings, but you can go to the practice range ? I tried to and I couldn’t move over and select it. I just want to know if I am tripping or not because I promise I tried. I’ll try again later.
How is the time to kill? Is it quick like call of duty or can you actually have some gun fights?

It's still like cod I would say....very fast paced similar to cold war.
Way higher TTK than cod. Way less auto aim and way more recoil.

Does anyone else think the HUD is a bit distracting like the score in the top middle of the screen taking up a bit too much of the screen, then when you kill a player their name sticks around for a little too long or is it just me.

Careful with partying up, Rubin did say their matchmaking takes this into account, so if you're in a party, you're more likely to play other parties.

I know you can’t on controller but is there a way to convert cod kbm sens to this game? I usually use 1.75 sens w/ 1600 DPI. Anyone know what that would be in xdefiant?
You need to measure the distance to 360 and match them across games. Get a ruler and see what it is in COD and do the same in Xdefiant and you’ll have your conversion.
Practice range gonna be very useful if it was not greyed out

you say this isnt a cod killer, and it def wouldnt be if cod wasnt a dumpster fire these days, but i dont think its anything less than that for some people. Cod has systems implemented to alter your real time gameplay (fire rate, AA buff/nerf, dmg per bullet upped if ur doing bad, vice versa)... that is enough for me to never touch that game again (I still dont know how this wasnt a huge deal when it was discovered, probably cause its COD...). Strictly catered to the casuals nowadays, trying to make everyone feel like they're good. Personally, this is 100% my cod killer.

I am so excited to not play COD all the time anymore ! Altho i must say beleive it or not battlefeild hasnt been bad either . But still this will more than likely end up bein my new go to …
The FPS genre needs another 3-4 games to help boost/progress things in a way that feels new or fresh...the genre has gotten stale and hopefully this helps fill a little bit of what is needed in the genre going forward.

I dont care how good the Class is, that Far Cry 6 Class I refuse to play just based on how horrible that Game was. Ill stick with the Splinter Cell Class and Division Class since those two seem perfect for Run and Gun.
