- ''New'' HARROWSTORM Theme Song Music! From the new Dark Heart of Skyrim year long story series! Viewers note how this ''song'' is a mix of 2 or more songs, the second called ''Tides of the Abecean Sea''. This is the main theme of the Harrowstorm DLC (upon login) at the time of Harrowstorm release until Greymoor released and apparently was not an original composition specifically made for Harrowstorm.
Song(s) may or may not be new nor exclusive to intro or certain areas.

When the Harrowstorm update hit, i did not expect them to change the loadscreens & menu music! It got me so hyped for this chapter :D

In the past they've only changed the main theme with the chapter release, haven't they? This makes more sense with the year-long story thing they started in Season of the Dragon.
I always absolutely love the music produced for eso, Brad Derrick does an amazing job! I look forward to all the tracks from Harrowstorm, Greymoor and beyond

The actual Skyrim region theme ~ 1:10 is my favorite. The counterpoint between the choir and the orchestra, which seems to be playing a sort of heavy variation on the main Elder Scrolls theme (could be wrong, but it seems similar in a lot of ways), makes me lose my damn mind lol It's gorgeous. I keep going back to listen for the specific themes and try to find out exactly what the composer did here. Really neat stuff

not sure whot you mean by title changed but the chapter has always been called Greymoor far as i know, to be released in may.
@@MastertheFun well in March 10 I fired up my game. Instead of usual title of Elswyer it is now greymoor. Which got me excited for a bid.
Master the Fun i think he's talking about consol players, we have the login screen of greymoor yet the dlc isnt out for purchase yet, so many thought we had it when the new login screen was changed lol...

Isn't this an old song? Its from the oldest starting cutscenes end where you're in Coldharbour, combined with some other track from Bleackrock, Rift and Eastmarh. I just reviewed it and its identical.
Very possible they reuse music for different sections, and have.

Yes. Part of this was used in the original opening cinematic for vanilla ESO. The one with Mannimarco on top of the White Gold Tower.

That bit from TES IV: Oblivion at the end always gets me, it just sounds so majestic. This theme is much better than the actual one from Greymoor.

I hate to be a downer but I thought the theme was really lackluster compared to the previous 3 chapter themes. Didn't notice any unique melodic patterns. Most of it is already overland music older players have already heard 1000 times in game.
Was kinda hoping they'd put a twist on music from Skyrim. No the into does't count, it's entire medody comprises of the main theme which has been used in every elder scrolls game since 2002's Morrowind
If previous chapters/years are any indication, the NEW music really comes with the chapters for the most part such as Morrowind, where they did just that, slightly remade Jeremy Soules amazing music. I expect the same for Greymoor (Skyrim).
They did put a touch of "The One They Fear" from Skyrim into it at 5:11 . But I do feel ya on that - this is really lackluster.
They use the main theme since morrowind in 2002 because it has become very iconic of the series since then and everyone loves it
I watched this and loved the music. I was waiting for Greymoor to release so I could get this song... Then, after about 7 months, I come back and realized this is just 2 songs. The first 1:10 I can't find. But the last 5:38 of the song is "Tides of the Abecean Sea" from the original ESO soundtrack. Calling this vid Harrowstone, is a bit misleading, I think. Please update it so it's giving proper credit to the artists who wrote these beautiful songs.

They've put Tides of the Abecean Sea in at about 1:13, which is really nice
yes the intro is only about a minute long, then it goes into that next song. For now, this is what is being used for Harrowstorm.
I loved this song with the candles lit ready for vampires...that's was s tier eso day now it's fallen off big time after Microsoft acquisition no more creative freedom. ZeniMax sucking that ESG BlackRock Teet

It's just the first 1:10 minutes that's a "new theme". The rest is old music.
They probably won't reveal the entire new soundtrack until the next Chapter. Sounds fantastic though, still!

New tracks dont usually have names made public, im sure they have names by the composer.

Misterdeeply, all of the Elder Scrolls themes follow the same melody- Skyrim’s was just a different take on Oblivion’s. And Oblivion’s was a different take on the theme from Morrowind.

It's pleasant, but it's basically a recycling of already existing themes. Elsweyr was more creative.
Hopefully Greymoor will use Jeremy Soules Skyrim music redone, as they did with Morrowind.
