Today we attempt to play a Paladin as a Hardcore, going from Zero To Ubers!

Also items will never roll from their base item, so like Tals armor will only EVER drop as lacquered plate, which is the elite base, whereas gothic plate is ALWAYS sigons. And Shako which is actually called harlequin crest only ever drops as shako, which is the base and also elite. Elite is the highest level of base item. You can upgrade a unique item from its base tier to a higher tier but it will not convert the item to that base unique. For example, string of ears can be upgraded to a spiderweb sash but it doesnt change to an arachnid mesh
Just FYI, you dont want to value things like FCR, or IAS UNLESS they move you past a breakpoint. For example, Treachery is NOT valued for its IAS, only for its fade as a pre buff bc you would need highlords and 20 IAS gloves to break an IAS breakpoint, so the armor alone wont be useful for its IAS. You will want Duress, or smoke on a budget, and COH BIS. Also Black flail is the way to go, it out performs heavens light and others, and is SUPER cheap, you will also want g face for helm, and goblin toes are great if youre not rocking duress for the added CB. Also TGods is ONLY good for meph, but the rest you want string of ears or dungos. Also conviction self cast is dumb, salvation is the one you want for meph, otherwise you need that fanat for the IAS
Mercenaries killed a doll near you, it exploded and kill you. Damn that is annoying way to end.

Durance of hate dolls are broken dude. I never played HC for that very reason

I may take you up on this, it maybe a while till I get there again due to the new ladder dropping this weekend.
Additionally thank you for the information on the other two comments, I have alot to digest before we attempt ubers again. I'm still a major noob at the game.
