Stuttgart. Versatile: the Mercedes-Benz GLE and its sporty offshoot, the GLE Coupé, are just as suitable for families and leisure time as they are for long-distance journeys and transporting loads. 4MATIC, which comes as standard in Europe, ensures that you can get through even in poor traction conditions or off-road terrain on gradients of up to 100 percent. A towing load of up to 3.5 tonnes1 makes it possible to pull a horse trailer, a valuable classic car or a larger caravan.
Mercedes-Benz has now updated the exterior, interior, technology and equipment of the model generation launched in 2018. The updated models will reach dealers in Europe from July 2023. The engine range is now electrified throughout. It includes mild hybrids with a 48-volt system and Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) as well as fourth-generation plug-in hybrids. Most models now have more power than the previous versions. The biggest is the increase with 30 kW on the GLE 400 e 4MATIC (details for GLE SUV: Fuel consumption combined, weighted (WLTP): 1.1-0.8 l/100 km, combined CO2 emissions, weighted (WLTP): 25-19 g/km, combined power consumption, weighted (WLTP): 27.3-24.7 kWh/100 km)

It’s equipped with a 367 HP + 16 kW (22 hp) from EQ Boost starter-alternator 6 cylinder engine and integrated EQ Boost which produces 750 Nm of torque.
2024 GLE 450d Coupe 4matic 0-100 km/h (62mph) can be reached in 5.6 seconds!
The top speed VMAX is electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph)

With the price of cars you can really tell what the inflation is, as it is more difficult at the supermarket or grocer. 15.000 in 5 years time is 3.000 a year on average which is 3,658% on average a year (base indicator is 82k). X5 the outcome is 18,29%, so in 5 years time the inflation has come to almost 20%.
If you have a job or are a shopkeeper, most like your pay-salary has not gone up all that much in the last 5 years and that's why it ''seems'' expensive.
And if you have a pay rise every year of let's say 5%, X5 the outcome would be 25%, your whole gain/profit/increase over 5 years would be 1,342% (every year) more/higher, than the occuring inflation(and that would be what you could put aside/save).
Let's say after tax you have 30.000 in 2018>>x1.432%(30.429,6)>>x1.432%(30.865,4)>>1.432%(31.307,4)>>1.432%(31.755,7)>>1.432%(32.210,4) your ''extra'' money would be 6.568,5 euro in 5 years time, so unless you have a job or earn more than that every year, this car might ''seem'' more expensive. It isn't, but for most it 'seems to be so'', meaning they are at the bottom of the market earning low income jobs for ever and ever. To make up the difference between 15.000 and 6568.5 one would have to save an additonal 1.686,3 euro a year to make it 15.000 after 5 years, but hey, that is only the difference in cost.
Bottom line, if you earn 30k or less a year, you should not even look at this car and just stare at the ground or a used kia matiz turbo, I don't know.

In the US, a GLE 53 is $100k and GLE 63S is $136k. I think 135euro for a 450D is insanely expensive.
Car prices in USA are low for a reason. It still is (like always) the ONLY thing the Americans have to really feel FREE and don't feel poor. Combined with low cost fuel(high octane) it gives the Americans the idea that they can buy stuff with their money, but in honesty, they cannot.

@Mr.benz I just started falling in love with mercedes cars especially c class Amg and my background I never drove a mercedes but I was wondering can some mistaken the gear shifter thinking is a turning signal because I use Japanese car for quite some time now and their turning signal is located in my right hand unlike these mercedes and most of European cars so is there any preventive of the gear shifter no to move while driving 😊

You (very) rarely sit in the rear, it would have been nice to see legroom etc…

This is basic model. There is special equipment you have to pay to get full leather interior and other options or if you want something else there is Brabus version...
