Linklight returns to the workshop for Rivals of Aether which gives you access to custom new characters or mods! In this video I check out Spamton Neo, well two of them actually. Each have their own unique twist on the secret boss from Deltarune Chapter 2.

the entire spamton neo [wip] creation process was me angrily smashing rocks together until something happened because I had zero actual clue to how the game handled anything or even how to code

Hi this is V_Force, just wanted to thank you for checking out Spamton Neo!
Sadly the character is kinda jank right now since they have a lot of glitches, and their original gimmick was basically just removed. I never really expected anyone to find them so I've kinda just let them sit in the Dumpster for a while, but considering you did a video on them, I'll try to go back and fix them up :)

I think that glitch should remain but under very specific circumstances.
What is the game
I recognise the color palette of Susie and Seam(Shopkeeper). The rest are unknown to me. Maybe one of the blue ones is Kris and one of the green ones is Ralsei, but that's kind of a stretch.

When spamton neo (WIP) get hit, the sfx from when enemies take damage plays
I think the first purple pallet may actually be a reference to the purple guy from FNaF, as it's a very distinct purple that I don't think we've ever seen in UT or DR, and the gold bit resembles a badge. (Which, ya know, if you're gonna put a FNaF reference on any character, the literal Puppet trying to move around souls in a robot body is a pretty good candidate.)
The one before it was definitely a mettaton reference too, and one of the other purples was Muffet.
A large portion of the 2nd Spamton's alts are in reference to the main Rivals of Aether from the base game
The second I saw the Kragg alt I knew what it was
1st Spamton skin is Jevil, 2nd is most likely referencing "Queen", 3rd is Mettaton EX, 4th is Mettaton NEO, 5th is just a color, 6th is the Spade King (Club king, same thing), 7th is just a color, 8th Maybe Susie, 9th just a color, 10th just a color, and the rest are just other colors. Also, one of the minty green and white ones are probably referencing Ralsie
