Hello everyone, my name is Daniele Tartaglia and welcome back to my channel. today I build a clock with LED lighting from an old motherboard. all the electronic part is controlled by arduino. I used programmable LED strips that allow the LEDs to change color gradually. At night the effect is very beautiful.

Yes!!! V2.0 sounds like it would be awesome! Just need to power for led better placement or hidden. I know you like a “finished” look and the white box is finished but you could incorporate into the body and ditch the box. Love your work! One of my fav channels on YT and I don’t even speak the language! 😁

I made a clock out of a old mobo and I just left it square with all the components and made a wooden frame for it.
I mounted the clock where the CPU would have been and use a hard drive disk like in the HD Clocks build I made for the kids. I used the same thing for the clock face but from a Scsi 5 1/4 disk... Looked good but it will collect dust like crazy I'm sure... Lol

Very nice job. I would have aligned the metal bezel so that the screws would have been on the bottom. They’re a slight distraction when looking at the clock as a whole. Excellent craftsmanship though.

Ti darei 100 like solo per la pazienza nel ripulire la motherboard visto che è un lavoro che ho fatto anch’io (per recupero componenti) e so bene quanto tempo ci vuole. Il progetto è fantastico. 🤩🤩

Veramente ne ho rotta una sola, le altre non so dove le hai viste. Se intendi quelle a parete, non sono distrutte, ma semplicemente posizionate e comunque, mi sono state regalate e non funzionanti.

If you removed three enclosure of the rgb controller, I'd would easily fit inside.

There are multiple options for that.
One is to desolder the barrel connector and resolder it via some wires.
Make a little square hole in the back plate.
And glue the connector in place.
Your problem solved.

Because it looks like the remote receiver is behind the clock face❗ (design flaw)

eliminando lo scatolino della scheda controller rgb dei led avresti potuto inserire la medesima all'interno dell'orologio in questo caso era auspicabile anche una eventuale
posizionabilità non solo da scrivania ma anche a parete
ed inoltre verniciando le lancette in bianco fosforescente o prendendo un meccanismo con lancette fosforescenti avrebbero avuto più contrasto con la MB ed al buio sicuro erano più visibili

tagliare la taglia, ma solo dove non c'è rame e li purtroppo il rame c'è :-)
