      Thank you for taking in all the garbage. Smart people don’t gamble nor drink Las Vegas is a sh*t hole that only attracts low life quality people. Once people realize how the city and state operate people leave it’s not just California people from different states what’s there besides high rise casinos? Nothing just a desert filled with radiation and homeless everywhere. Another scary thing is the drinking water it really destroys your body kidneys are the first to go. Then all the pretend to work on street and highways just blocking everything, not worth it, low paying jobs and no smart people just tourists and gambling addicted people.

      It’s a low quality of life maybe when a 4, bedroom home was 900 monthly it didn’t matter you got trapped their life was easy. What’s the point to live in a toxic waste land with no real future? Most homes are built on old mining grounds imagine all the toxins? California might be expensive but it’s a lot prettier and has beaches everywhere there’s no point on buying homes in a desert if they already match California prices. Look at the Lego land design in Las Vegas no room for parking anywhere lol ~ that gets old fast.

    Local Nevada residents better hope interest rates don't get lowered; or your average Californian will be back there in a heart beat; because 600k at 4 % is nothing for your average Californian when you can't even afford the ghetto in California for 600k

    • @anthonymartinez4307
      @anthonymartinez4307 Před 2 měsíci +8

      Let’s be honest the frivolous phony state policies and laws really suck. Here’s one big clue ( you are a desert ) and these homes are really worth 200~250k not sure how they got 600k from? It’s an ugly city , people used to move there because it was affordable at one point ~ today it’s just not worth it ~ low paying state there’s no future people figure out the low quality of life and nothing but low lifes hanging around.

      600k will get you decent house in rural area tho in cali if you can deal with the long drive to work and harsher weather and potentially losing electricity and other rural problems but also depends what rural area, mine is pretty calm but there's a road in between leads to palm springs and other crazy areas and sometimes we have visitors looking for freebies.

      Don't worry a lot of people that could have left California in the last few years haven't, so unless homes become ridiculously cheap in Vegas, I wouldn't expect things to return to how they were in 2021 and 2022. People also like being able to go outside in the summer.

      ….but let me say this …..the middle class is being decimated in California with liberal emphasis politics on reducing the the so-called carbon footprint 👣. Gasoline is the most expensive in the country. A few companies I worked at in the state closed their factories 🏭 because of environmental regulations. One company I know of that I worked at manufactured glass, the during meetings the plant superintendent would sometimes complain how the AQMD came down hard on him for slightest infraction. This factory paid good wages. Employees bought homes, new cars etc….. but eventually it closed its doors. Moved operations out of state citing cost of doing business was too high.

    Really that's all you have high interest rates give me a break why don't you talk about high rates of Realtors they don't have to do hardly anything to sell a house and they charge so much
    You guys don't understand it's the rich people in California that don't want to pay taxes that are leaving.
    NV energy is the devil and the weather is horrific so it cost far more to fuel that big house it cost more on insurance for me it has lower wages it has terrible labor laws. The hustle is almost impossible every time you try to open a business or work 1099 the first thing you have to do is give $200 to the state of Nevada for a business license and if you're one day late they charge you $100 late fee immediately not to mention all the angry. Especially if you're from California and used to the happiness and palm trees and sunshine and then you get Karen in las Vegas
    And finally where the hell is rent control do you understand that if I get an apartment it doesn't have to go up that much for the rest of my life it's actually cheaper than for me buying a house high cost of repairs and the super devils HOAs what the hell happened to HOAs in this town. I imagine the correlation will be high. Then shitlibs will immediately say “correlation is not causation“ without saying what else could have caused it unless it rhymes with Schmonald Schmump. Which means that as usual, they will blame everybody but themselves when this is the fault of nobody but them.

    Alot of Californians can’t stand Nevada because the minimum wage is low but the rent is up high this year where it’s just like California in order to survive you have to rent a room not a apartment or a house . The food cost is up for a regular meal dish at a restaurant is 14-17 before tips and people only make 9-11 dollars a hour average . One of my friend is a first responder in California and was looking to sell his house and transfer job to Nevada but when he found out he will only getting paid half of what he makes in California he changed his mind and all the houses he was looking at in Nevada are average 400-600k and there’s no beach in Nevada also it’s to hot . He decided to move to Texas because he could t stand Californias governor but he’s getting paid the same in Texas and for 400-600k the houses are way bigger plus Texas has a beach . I forgot to mention the insurance rates in Texas is cheaper than Nevada a lot cheaper .. my brother came to visit me from Washington state to see how Nevada was like and he went back home . In Washington state he makes 200-300 a day within 6 hours doing those catering apps but in Nevada he tried it and only made 30 dollars through out the whole day everyday for a whole week . Uber also under pays and a lot of Nevada people don’t like to tip so he was like f that going to stay in Washington state . Up there the weather is better and you can go crab fishing while making 2-300 a day just doing catering delivery services . There’s alot of retired military homes up there with a lot of people who have very well paid jobs so you make a lot of tip up there . I’m pretty sure most Nevada residents don’t have extra money because they also gamble lol besides having lesser minimum wage but I’m sure they gamble to much on everything from bingo to slots cards , sports , horse tracks . Probably why most people are broke and why Nevada tries to stay more focus on tourist .

    It's a no-brainer, during COVID, most employees were working from home, that's over, Californians had to return to the office or face being let go, and earn Vegas dismissal salaries. Vegas has no tech, film, or decent healthcare, job opportunities are scarce. Californians would rather make three times the income they can make in Vegas and not endure 6 months of painful heat, no beaches, and awful schools. Teachers and nurses get paid double what Vegas pays. Party over Vegas realtors. Do the math and California salaries always comes out tops. There are also cheap houses in Cleveland if you like 30 degrees below zero for 5 months and 10 dollars an hour avg pay.
