Some stories repeat, some are drawn out way too long and some are just repetitive. Like a million intros about the shitty parents and golden child brother pad out the damn story so damn much it's intolerable.
The mother here is obviously the villain, but the dad is completely spineless. Obviously there were some things that he didn't witness, but plenty of the instances in this 3-hour long video of the mother abusing not just the OP but both of her children have the father present and he does nothing about it. Some people just shouldn't have children.

People are calling op’s dad worthless, he’s a victim of abuse.

The dad was literally starved for years and with all the disabilities his kids had I’d not be surprised if he had one or two.
I feel sorry for the OP and the dad. He is stuck and had to wait till his kids could no longer be affected by the divorce. Family court is not kind to men or children.
I think I don’t like how these rotate between OP’s personal story and this other “friend”’s grandmother.
I get they are all within a similar theme - but it is confusing to follow.

I am so confused ? In start she says her mother was horrible and then suddenly at 15:50 she was sweet ? I don't understand when on story starts and other ends. Timestamps should be made. Or atleast announce before starting next story

7:05 Heh!I was a stubborn kid who didn't like cleaning my room(althoug that probably sprange from having to always share a room with a brother who never did his share of chores, and was averse to cooperating with me on anything, so my room never got cleaned without the parents cracking the whip. But even if I didn't have to share my room with an entitled narcissist who would never do his fair share as a matter of principle, I would probably only have my room somewhat clean, and nowhere near neat... And between ADHD and 30 minutes to an hour worth of homework every day, I'd just get easily discouraged... so if my mom has ever pulled that stunt, would have simply shut down. I already viewed most of these chores as sysyphean busiwork that served no real purpose as it was, and seeing my mother only make more of it for me would only further solidify my position in that regard and result in me becoming uncooperative. Once the real confusion of the person who wanted me to clean my room deliberately trashing it wore off, a sense of betrayal and hyprocrisy would kick in. And I'd just decide to live in the mess. "Don't want a mess? Don't make a mess," would become my motto going forward. Of course I would clean and fold clothes and put them away in drawers, and if shit started getting taken away, I'd escalate. Sends me to bed without supper, "You're the one who goes to jail when I starve to death." Kurtness would be my every response. Shaddenfreud would be my solace. Utter contempt would be my fuel. I'm not just speaking hypothetically either. This was my response when my brother trashed our room on purpose. I picked up my things and my things alone. Left all of his things in the floor, and when we both got belted for it, I decided to take my licks first, so I could laugh at him when it was his turn... So I got spanked again. And when he went for the last laugh by saying "All I have have to ger you in touble is not pick anything up," and my only response was, "and he'll spank you harder, so who do you really think is going to break first?" Got him to back off, even if it was only to change tac.

Op brother isn’t a golden child or entitled he’s just a guy with severe mental issues that weren’t properly treated and has people pleasing tendencies
Op Dad absent lack of awareness cause both kids traumas and should be accountable as well
He bullied his sister with physical violence, gets away with most things unless the dad steps in, breaks things, steals, throws tantrum when things don’t go his way, never learnt to drive and whole load of other stuff.
Sounds like he’s entitled and is the mom golden child.
However you’re right it seems like he has a number of mental issues that aren’t resolved, I’d say he just copied his mom’s behavior.
