I like the finished results. I have been watching a ton of different videos to get ideas and tips and tricks before breaking ground on my first layout. I found a pretty handy set of 3D printed tools from a video by The Hill Valley Subdivision N Scale Model Railroad channel that makes rounding sidewalks and spacing the different concrete sections pretty easy; as well as properly spacing the sidewalk sections on the roadbed to allow for street with or without street parking. Working in N scale can be difficult as the scale is fairly unforgiving, so even the slightest cut in a sidewalk when sized up to figures looks instead like a foot long gap, so it's been tricky mastering it. But again, kudos on the video and even though off-handed, for introducing me to the just plug light hub; much appreciated.

Thanks buddy thanks for your comment. If you have a 3-D printer I think thats awesome idea for sidewalks just about anything. I wish I had a 3-D printer. I had a bunch a styrene around, so decided to take a vantage of it for my sidewalks. I still have a bunch of little detail things to do on my layout. I just been lazy, lol 😂 but I hope you keep us updated on yours. Thank you for stop by the channel and David check it out. I look forward to hearing from you more. 👍👍

Looks GREAT SEAN, the difference of adding a sidewalk, people, trees and lights make a huge difference, love those Woodland Scenics pre lit buildings but they are crazy expensive

Sean, Very well done. I like to use the Just Plug lights myself because they are very easy to install. The neat thing about the light hub is that they allow the adjustment of the brightness of each light…..John

Hi John you are so right! these lights are amazing👍 you can divide rooms and even adjust the lights from high to low, it makes the buildings look more realistic I think. Thanks for the comment John I really appreciate it😃

Looks good Sean. For the longest time I always used the model power lights, those small wires were a serious pain in the back side to get to stay in the terminal blocks to hook up. its sad they don't make them anymore. When I first looked into the LED lights, dont remember if it was woodland scenics or not but I wasn't paying 30 something for one light. I got with my aunt to help me figure out what all I needed to make my own. Not quite to scale but who says everything has to be.

That’s awesome! I like woodland because I’m not good with lights and wiring and they’re easier for me to install and hook up 😃 I wish I was lol thanks for the comment I really appreciate it 😃😃

That came out great Sean. There are a few ways you can keep the buildings from sliding around without gluing them. A border of plastic strips glued down to the base that line up with the insides of the walls, pins attached to the insides of the walls and fit into holes in the base, and then there are magnets. Looking forward to your future videos.

Looks amazing! You once asked me how i did mine and i said "lots and lots of smooth-it". You totally did it better! Great way to make a modular downtown as well if you felt like different buildings / streetscapes. Will definitely be keeping this idea in mind for the next re-design.

This is really a great system! Simple to use. Just be careful not to overload your power pack. Some simple planning goes a long way. DO THE MATH! It's easy.
