- One of the most notorious bosses in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is back to wreak havoc in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Or at least, his spawn is back. Spawn of Oggdo is one of the hardest early optional bosses you can find in Survivor, and we don't recommend trying to take him on until later in the game, but whether you fight him early, or late, you'll need to learn his attacks and patterns, and that's where we come in. Here is a guide on how to beat Spawn of Oggdo in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

the dev who designed this boss need therapy
I hope he finds a girlfriend.
@@guilhesasI hope he never doed
Absolutely infuriating getting snagged MID DODGE over and over again.
The lunge attack is not possible to be dodged im convinced😂😂😂
You just jump, I did it on my channel and didn't get hit by it once
@@tumbledryergaming ive tried it still hits. Other comments also have the same problem.
I had hammer bros kill him for me
@@Lemontarts01 Jump over him rather than to the sides, i was getting hit a lot too lol, its so overpowered how he turns and tracks your movement before lunging forward 😂
@@Lemontarts01 it’s a homing missile so you can’t dodge it. Same with the tongue. You have to double jump on both of those.
U can either use ur invisibility frames in side dodge or if move far enough away it has a strict range of attack
This made me rage and I was on normal, anyone who can beat it on the highest difficulty, you got my respect
Fr
Force pull the two idiots on top with hammers.
Currently raging on the hardest difficulty lol. Almost got him, though. I get careless when he has low life and start trying to chain attacks. I'm so greedy!
Thx, coming form Jedi grand master, he ALWAYS has his second phase attacks
I'm getting one hit by this thing. Wish me luck! Lol 😅
Somehow Oggdo Boggdo has returned
I don’t mind most of the boss abilities but the one hit tracking tongue move is bullshit.
You can also activate the platform with droids on it and immediately double-jump off the platform. The droids will fall, lure Oggdo out of far point of the pit, which will allow you to make a special down-jump attack. It will take sth like 15% of life.
You can also force pull the two Bedlam Hammer Dudes from the platform above down to the trap door and lure them to fall in. They do significant damage to it before dying. THEN follow-up with a fall attack. I fought that monstrosity when it had 25% health and it still took me an hour or so of trys.
In addition to those two guys above, you can go around and lure some other enemies over to be force pulled in as well
@@myname3330thanks for this tip.. they did a lot of damage enough for me to get like 8 hits in to kill him.. I have died here more then Elden rings first mainline boss lol
@@RedNineTeen I feel your pain.
@myname3330 Bro... thank god I saw your comment cuz I lured both of em inside and they ACTUALLY MANAGED TO KILL OGGDO FOR ME 😭😭 So many rage quits only for this wave of sweet relief to overwhelm me to hit me 🫠
I would recommend the Blaster Stance because the charged shot can stun him for a few frames as well as prevent him from using his unlockable attacks.
This tip helped me defeat the boss finally. Thanks haha. Stunning his attacks with the heavy blaster shot was huge. Thansk
@@danielmckay3510 You're welcome.
Just a bad boss in general
Heavily agree, in the last game you could double tap B to roll, and in this game double tapping B makes you evade twice which doesn’t actually dodge his unblock-able attacks
Makes it a little more realistic and challenging 👍🏽 could also just double jump
@@slickvq "Realistic"😂
Bad boss. Easy if you learn his pattern and hit him only in the big openings. Still a really really badly designed boss.
@@OnTheEdge86 just cause it could kill you easily doesn’t mean it’s a bad boss. I beat it first try on grand master, granted I had all stim upgrades and end game
@@slickvq Beat it first try on grandmaster too. Still a bad boss, high damage and a basic pattern doesn't make it interesting or fun
The fact that the tongue just straight oneshots you is total bullshit. Also just ignores your dodge half the time.
Bro can someone at respawn please learn that small area big boss isn't hard ffs. If you're gonna do that make the arena symmetrical. I'm fighting the environment and camera more than the actual boss . Fallen order Oggbo area was fair this isn't
100% agree
I was able to cheese this. Drag down one of those smasher enemies from up above. Let them fight while you’re in the pit together. It’s hard but eventually they’ll focus on eachother. Stand by the door. Oggdo will forget you’re there and you’ll be out of combat so you can slip out the door. Go save and come back and fight him while you stay outside the door. He will try to come through the door but he really can’t. He eventually did for me but it was pretty much over by then. His tongue can still get it as you stand outside the door though, so be careful
Saved me
Literal Chad, thanks man
How, there is no way of dragging him down.
Had to search CZcams to see if it was really that hard or If I’m just trash at the game… this is one I’m fine with never beating 😅
Did you beat it?
Just switch to story honestly. This game combat system isn't the best and at the end or the day just have some fun
@@elijahdoran1316 True, but the feeling of satisfaction when you beat it in the desired difficulty.
I know it's a video game, but his ability to self correct mid attack and still connect is insurmountable and quiet infuriating. 🤣🤣
Here is a way to beat spawn of oggdo without changing the difficulty. There are two bedlam smashers above, on the cliff that hangs over the pit. Drag one or both of the down and lure them into the pit and they will fight oggdo. Be warned though they are tough themselves but not as tough as oggdo.
Got it first try using this method on normal, thanks!
Thanks man, this really worked
Did this shit on accident today and k don’t even care if it didn’t give me the skill point. Playing on grandmaster and beating every other boss till this point with light difficulty he was beating my ass. Now I can move on 🙏.
Dude, I did this and it worked! Way easier!
How do you lure them in?
For this boss fight smart, not hard: Before you enter the cave, get rid of the droids, then pull the two smashers that are on the platform above and fall with them into the Oggdo cave. They’ll do most of the damage. Let the Oggdo finish them and then you finish it.
Thank you so much 😭 I would have raged so much more if I never saw your comment
Yeah that’s what I did lol. Did like half his life
Thanks
Better to learn that boss instead of fighting smart or it' 'll bite you later on if you want to pursue 2 Oggdos in one arena.
@@Greyhoundz99999 wait fr? 😳 I'm trying to 100%... BUT 2!?!?
Thanks so much for the video. The hardest part for me was learning how to counter his attacks and this video did exactly that. Beat him 1st try after it. I had used the blaster stance simply for easy damage and after all shots were used I had hit my old xp and it refilled my shots. Thanks again for the help!
That one-hit kill, unblockable bite attack is some garbage because the game’s dodging is so iffy. Between that and the short but annoying runback, it made more sense to find a way to cheese him.
I used the double bladed saber on him. The attacks stun/slow him a bit. Extra defense is nice too, can usually take two hits instead of just one before having to heal.
Just doing this now and this was 1000 times easier than the double blades.
The easiest way to best him by far is to complete the main story, start a new game plus, activate the purity perk, drag the two electrohammer guys down into the pit, let them fight and fall to Ogdo's boy, and then just shoot spawn of ogdo with your blaster.
I just put the difficulty on story mode killed him, and switched it back to normal cuz they made him way too OP and I don’t have time to be fighting a frog 50 times 🤦🏾♂️😭💀
His tongue attack is the absolute most impossible thing to avoid.
I dont know why we can’t grab it anymore like the first game. Fight would’ve been over much quicker if I could’ve.
Dude was the hardest boss so far. Harder than rancor
He's only hard because he's a glitched boss & has nonstop unstoppable attacks if you aggro him on his last 50% of health. I counted 11 back-to-back unstoppable attacks when that happened. So IDK, beat him but it wasn't fun nor did it feel good to finally beat him....AGAIN.
Why is Cal so weak? LOL I want Starkiller force powers again, this is getting boring. Instead we get Scooter Girl with Outcasts. LOL
Single blade was more effective for me because it has those awesome aerial abilities that you can use after you jump to counterattack
Thank you for hints🙏
Never occurred to me to jump over his lunge or tongue. That was a game changer. Way easier than trying to dodge.
Quickest way is to force pull both bedlam smashers above you, then lure them to the center of the trap door and trigger it, jump away right before the platform disappears. The smashers will deal 70-80% damage then you finish the rest.
I lost almost a full bar of xp because I accidentally fell into there with no way out and no way to reclaim it other than killing him, which is impossible because I found him way too early with less than 10 skills points used. Games are supposed to be fun, and the devs were evil for doing that shit. It made me rage way too hard
I was having such a hard time with this boss, so I kept looking up guides... Only for him to eventually clip through the floor and die
I've never had so much confused laughter come outta me in my life 😂🤣🤣🤣😂
The same thing happened to me. I spent an hour on this boss, only for it to clip through the floor when I slowed it. Hilarious.
This boss fight is beyond broken. Even with dash dodge you still can’t avoid some of his strikes. Just a bad boss fight.
Using the charged blaster shot is very helpful in this fight. You can pretty much create your own openings that last long enough to get more than one hit.
Man I was so hyped when I got the reward for beating this boss!!
Ive just started playing Jedi survivor and a little tip I found out is if he does grab you with his tongue, you use LS+RS to activate slow motion and he will drop you. Not sure if its intended but it works
You can open the door by quickly jumping off. If you have upgraded your force skill, you can then pull the two hammer raiders from the ledge above you into the hole and they will fight the oggdo for you. You can even use your blaster while watching from above. Then jump down and do an air attack and you can finish it off.
Felt like cheating but that mfer is dead now so 🤷♂️
In the first game you could force pull his tongue out and cut it off. Been trying it and it seems that it doesn’t work like that anymore
After 1 hour of non stop trying I came here to make sure I m not that bad. I didn't want to draw other npc in fight cause I always want to fight alone. After 3 hours in Master difficulty, trying a bunch of different stance combos, I made it with blaster and dual blades combos and was left with 10% hp and no stims. I was shaking after this. It was so hard to predict some attacks and the fact that he is super fast was exhausting. Thank god he was spraying that goo and I landed many hits while tanking the damage from goo and healing right after. I also want to thank myself for not playing on Grandmaster difficulty
Yeap. It didn't even feel good to beat him. Just aggravating for no reason.
Lies of P does extremely difficult boss fights properly. This Oggdo was worse than the last...
Cal is also weak AF. Big Time.
yea im trying to do this toward the beginning of the game and it seems impossible
that space toad is the spawn of a demon, just avoid at all cost you probably dont need the reward. they probably kept it in that pit to throw prisoners in there for persecution.
I can’t dodge his ducking tongue I’m so angry ahhhh
the blaster stance is actually better
you can cancel some of his red attacks with a charge shot and quickly hit him back few hits
Can you scan him? Because I couldn't after I beat him!
I didn't even use jump for this fight the entire time. I just kept my distance and threw the lightsaber at Oggdo again and again until it died. I circled around the area and controlled the distance. For me, the circling method is easier when it comes to dodging Oggdo's unblockable red attacks.
I pulled the chaos riders from above to deal him half hp and then just played carefully on the first time in koboh with 3 heals
a boss that is not built for the pace of this game. not worth the difficulty just to fight the same boss again just in another game
Cheat: kill the droids up top then make sure you fall down next to the door, if you're quick you can unlock it before combat initiates and you can just cheese him at the open doorway.
Definitely a get good moment because you almost have to be perfect to beat him. By the time I finally got past him around 30 or 40 so tries I had the combinations down lol.
You can beat I’m first try on Jedi knight by first dropping a bunch of bedlam raiders that are around the hole and them jumping off do and using th dark side
@@Envixity564They only do less than 15% damage to Oggdo on Jedi Knight...
The Rangkor felt better to fight, but Oggdo has too many glitches. Worse than the original Oggdo.
Either wait till the very end where you're fully leveled & have mastered the game or cheese him on Story Mode right away. It's not a fun fight either way. It doesn't feel good to beat him. It's just annoying filler.
I just beat him and woke my girlfriend up. I am now trying to explain why I needed to scream
She’ll never understand lmao 🤣
We’re are all here because of Charlie
Easiest way to beat him after I died countless times, pull down those hammer dudes from up top they took half of its life, soo much easier for me. Thanks to whoever showed me that in the comments. Your a real one 👌🏼😂
If you’re playing and you already beat the game use the purity perk get the blaster stance and shoot the shot out of him.
All you have to do is have super strong force Pull ability, you pull those two hammer raiders from the cliff and let them fall in fight Oggdo
I managed to beat it on my first visit to Koboh, but as a souls veteran I can only say that this boss is very janky and downright cheats to get hits in. Overall I can only say that it's a very badly designed boss which is made to frustrate the player as much as possible rather than pose an actual challenge. I didn't get an accomplished feeling after beating it or anything, I was just very glad it was over.
When I went to fight him after dying so many times, right when I watched this video he just glitched and fell through the floor and it counted 😂
i'm convinced this is only the case with that specific version of it in the challenge that puts you up against both oggdos you can't jump over any of their attacks
I've defeated many of these worthless toads on Bogano. Why am i struggling with a familiar enemy is beyond me
Because its a badly designed boss that uses cheap tricks and aimbot to damage the player. I can't even call this boss challenging because its been designed in a way to cause frustration just to be a troll boss to hide the poncho unlock.
@bend7726 dude i eventually got his ass...then i faced the two rancor. Thankfully i beat them too but god almighty, the designers were just being dicks with these challenges at that point
I don’t recommend double jumping with the tounge move it’s way to tight of a window just dodge to the right two times.
How do you lock on?
I accidentally cheesed this guy. I pulled the two hammer guys off the ledge to fight them. As soon as the trap to OB opened up I button mashed out of the trap and the two guys fell in. They took out 75% of its health. I just used the blaster the rest of the time.
No idea wtf you're talking about. The melee droids get demolished.
@@NickTemperistic After you clear the droids, look up to cliff ledge. There's two hammer guys you can pull down off the cliff and into the boss with some maneuvering.
@@ChitoBandito6 LOL why are they just standing there looking at me. Thanks btw. They only took down 50% of its health but it definitely made the fight easier.
@@NickTemperistic They're just standing there... menacingly! And nice! I got lucky and they took out like 80% once. Sometimes they just get wrecked. Good luck with the rematch without them though! It's freaking hell!
@@ChitoBandito6 bro how tf did you get them in the hole
I sort of cheesed it by purposefully dying, doing fully charged blaster shots and staying out if range, then attacking until i heaked a few times and then picking up my death point again to refill ammo and doing fully charged shots again. Kept me relatively safe the entire fight
I force pulled both the Bedlam Smashers from the cliff up top and activated the trap platform with them on it and jumped off before I fell in with them. I let them double team OGGDO until his health was super low and then jumped in 😂
I'm close, just wanted to confirm, proper guide
You can use your super too early if he catches you with his tongue. Btw. Invincibility frames ftw.
how can a monster of that size turn 180 turn when u jump over its head. Not fair at all
Im trying to cut his tongue using force pull, so its not possible
I must really suck cause I’ve tried countless times now with this advice and can’t win
Im mad i keep dodging all the moves like how your saying to do it but i get hit and killed every time🤔 mostly by the toungue and bite whifch are the two one taps
This boss battle just might be the most miserable experience I've ever had playing a video game. It took me nearly TWO HOURS to beat it.
Thank you
Jumping over his tongue is counter-intuitive, because his tongue slams down? I’ll try it...
Dodging to the side seems more appropriate, but that only seems to work 30% of the time?
If not for that tongue attack I would have beaten him ages ago.
I find the blaster stance best as it has a bug that lets you escape most grabs and the pistol can stun him out of his artacks
That's how I did it with 4 blaster perks. Wait until he gets too close and hit him with a charged shot to stun him and his red attacks before he can do anything.
Then follow up with 2 or 3 saber strikes to recharge the ammo back. Rinse repeat. Stay away from the tongue, the vomit, and avoid shooting him from a distance and you'll romp right through him.
Wish I had realized this sooner. However, the "stun" blaster bolt shot you can buy doesn't actually stun him. you need the STANDARD shot to be charged for it to work.
The developers just couldnt help themselves to include this boss could they. They knew everyone hated oggdo from the first game so they made it even more BS in this one. First time ive raged.
U can force pull the two raiders above into the pit and they do about half of his health in damage
I just pulled the two hammer bedlam raiders down the pit and took out Oggdo Bogdo once they were done, used the baster stance to get a couple of shots in 😂
I don’t fight him till I have at least 8 stims and like 6 health bar upgrades.
So there's a lowkey cheese for this fight, kill all the droids and force pull both guys from the cliff above, lure them.on the platform and trigger it but jump out the way and onto the ledge if done right they'll move land in the pit with him and can pretty much kill him themselves if they're lucky.
Just drag them both raider smashers into the pit to make them aid in fight with the oggdo and handle the rest of the fight on your own.just try this, this will help a lot in the battle
This was literally the only way i beat that 3 eyed mf😭😂😂
Don't know why I didn't think to block/parry. Tough critter, I want for the holodeck game
To easily beat him use charged blaster shot, go in and hit him twice and repeat. Jump over all lunging attacks and tongue attack
Last year had the same problem this boss almost made me throw my controller across the room
I think its best to lock in on it when fighting ,it easier to jump over
Just hold your lightsaber in the air and you can beat both on grandmaster in 15 seconds
He can do the blockable bite once except for twice and then do a unblockable attack ad I just figured out
I normally play as jedi knight my first play through but just for this boss I put it on story mode and it was too easy on that
If anyone is new to this what I did to beat it was there’s battle droids above to lure you into a trap that drops you down. You can easily trigger the trap and jump before falling. Do that and kill the remaining droids that don’t fall in. Then look on the ledge above you and there’s two big guys that you can force pull down when in the right position and then run around the hole so they are directly across and pull them just slightly so they fall in and if you can get both of them then you’ll get about half of the Healh depleted on the ogdo. You should have the blaster by that time so if you spend your skill points wisely and get the upgrades for the blaster you can easily kill it early on.
Oggdo will ALWAYS one shot those droids even on Normal(Jedi Knight) difficulty. The door trick didn't work for me either. Double jump & Vortex Dive helps to dodge some of his unstoppable lunges. Double dodge BEFORE/AS he tongue attacks to avoid the one shot.
I glitched him on Jedi Knight where he did 11 Unstoppable Attacks in a row...not sure how it happened but that killed me 30 or 40times too. 😂
Terrible boss fights. Lies of P does difficulty perfectly for boss fights. Respawn is just a cheap EA knockoff of every good game Developer.
@@nighthawkviper6791 I’m not talking about the droids. There’s two bigger guys that you can pull down to the ledge where the droids were after you defeat them. And jumping the double doors is just all about timing. That’s how I defeated it on the first playthrough.
pro tip if you pull the enemies above the pit down onto the circle and drop them in they will kill the boss for you lmao
BEST WAY kill the droids use the force to pull both bedlam raiders twice once down then down again to the boss then use jumping strike he will be 25 percent then u can use blaster and then pick of checkpoint from dying for full ammo then use the whole clip
Found a better strategy. Use the blaster stance and charge up the shot, shoot him, then he'll stumble and thats when you strike. Rinse and repeat. This was much more effective i found
I have a tip for those who may want it.
[[SPOILERS FOR EARLY STORY MISSIONS]]
After completing the Jedi Trial puzzle thingie in the Basalf Rift (Looks like a giant forest for reference, you go to it to try to get to the forest array.) you get the Dexterity Perk.
This perk increases the power of Lightsaber throws, which is a GODSEND. Basically, just spam your Lightsaber throw, be on the defensive, do some damage when he leaves himself open, and bam!
Why didn't you Show where the trap door is
I stg this one is harder to kill than the one in fallen order. I vividly remember struggling for a while but then figuring how to beat it without taking damage. This one is different. I’ve even tried force pulling the two raiders from the ledge and getting them to fight it. They always get close to killing it but they always die.
If you want to cheese the poncho force pull a big dude from on the cliff above the pit and open the chest while oggdo is distrscted 😂
😂
you can pull those two chaos riders down to fight him actually
I need to know where this is!
This boss activated by PTSD of Elden Ring
I fought this bitch for ages as soon as I found him on grand master and did not give up. All hail lord oggdo, I developed such a good strat. Such a good boss so glad oggdo was in this game
1?
I beat him by pulling two axe😮 raiders into the hole and escaping it. After those guys die I used blaster stance to get him low then finished him off.
Finally defeated this frog by throwing the lightsaber.
I got a feeling finding this guy is harder than beating him
It’s not.
I’m all for a difficult game but this boss is just unfun and not fair at all
There should be 2 juggernauts on the ledge pull the from across the hole and drop them in to fight for you without wasting force Guage
