Seeing them live was life changing. Plus some hearing loss for a few days.
Proof that you don’t have to play at 875 bpm and play shredding solos, and write songs with 5 breakdowns to be sick. Conan, Pallbearer, and Sleep, hell Doom bands in general, are sadly underrated and overlooked. Love Death,Speed, and Trash Metal as much as the next fan. But Doom is where it’s at… All hail Conan.. Love the music but whoever filmed it tried to hard. We just wanna see the band not these fucking angles, constantly moving around, making my hangover worse.
I love their Albums but vocals Are sooo Bad live. Jon screaming all the time basically robs their music of a whole Layer. Satsumo is a very good example, its angry here and Misses all the „Sorrow“ from the Studio recording
