As someone who literally only just beat the game this is a really good run for this early stage. I think the 2 main areas that need to be optimised are the ice cave (obviously, thats by far the hardest section) and Gears (The first jump to the pillar needs to be consistent and overall movement is slow during that part with the Dome + the clothes line. They can probably be done faster and more reliably IMO)

haha same. But it was an issue, the dev couldnt fix that time, so he sticked with the long arms. Only seeable from side. He also made a joke about the shadow, that nobody will noticed it. Is the shadow still of long arms? xD
This run is amazing, for the majority of players the game would take hours to complete yet you did it in 10:31. I’m excited to see how these speedruns change and what techniques will be implemented

Interesting how the climbing still seems like a struggle as opposed to how getting over it speed runs look like he's almost weightless. The creator did a great job making it actually seem like climbing, so here it looks like fast climbing rather than abusing momentum.

yeah, but tbh it's likely not gonna take off like GOI. it's just too frustrating, because it feels too inconsistent. in GOI you could learn the mechanics, because you would just drop down one or two obstacles most of the time. here, you will reset to the start every time, until you are good enough to get to the first pool, and then you're good enough to finish it anyway. I believe a huge part of what made GOI actually fun was that while there was the risk of losing all progress, it wasn't guaranteed to happen, it always was a gamble.
1:16 i think going to the midle and sliding down to the center stone with the bush would be faster. like, jump and slow your self down with that big slipy rock. i think it could be prety consistent!

I haven't beat the game yet, but I found out in my run so far that on the clothes line you can swing from the dress all the way into the pool. Not sure if that will save time with the swinging but worth a shot

As someone who has never played the game i agree, i think, i wouldnt know i havent played it
Construction beam can be done whitout you being in the middle of it that can also develop into an strat being closer to the hook
i think if you can handle high sensitivity then the run would be much faster
as someone who beat the game, ice cave is NOT the hardest part💀that actually took the least amount of time to beat

There's a time save here for clothes line, where you just need to get to the dress and then you can two hand swing straight into the next pool.
