Yeah exactly those who know they dont share. May be you become much better than them.
Listening to this guy makes me feel like I'm sitting in Harward University of Music Production... Thanks a lot for enlightening the music world...
lmao
For real lol
This brother sounds so fuckig professional bro
Facts
Yh, A lot of other CZcams producers (no disrespect) either exaggerates their voices or just do goofy things that I can even take them seriously.
Mastering and Mixing can be the most fun part but it's also very discouraging if you can't quite get the sound you want.
It’s certainly can be fun, usually takes me 3 months to get a track that I’m happy with trying different build ups and drops and getting ready for real realise and sometimes can be frustrating, but with certain plugins and side compression it helps, keep going until you’re happy with your song and it’s about self satisfaction, before getting other listeners to listen
Ik how that feels 😭
@@danquay9504 3 months is too long tho ngl
@@user-rf4vc7mt4d First song I made took over 49 hours and I regret nothing 😂😂. I've learnt a lot since then, so should be a lot quicker to make stuff now
@@absterdam9795 wow for learning purposes taking all the time you need must've been very helpful

I love how you take your time at the beginning to explain that this is just a beginner's tutorial and that professional mastering by experienced people really is something else. I mastered my own album recently and though it worked out fine, I realise my skills are nowhere near those of a professional. Mastering is a hard skill to master!
Sixth Floor Memories it is indeed! I'm trying my best to not mislead anyone especially as the channel grows. I want as little confusion as possible :)
That seems to be the proper way of teaching these things in my opinion. Also, mastering my own songs was definitely made easier by using the Youlean Loudness meter you mentioned here and in a previous video. Great stuff!
ayy I see what you did there at the end hehe
@@sixthfloormemories1566 man I WILL definitely follow ur album and also search Lystormdr or go to my channel and then go to my Spotify and enjoy
It clicked with me finally....I have ADHD and have trouble with online learning, except with you. There is something about the rhythm and tone of your voice that makes my brain follow. Extremely well organized and detailed to boot, nice work man.
i also have ADHD
@@ShadowBeats1 Same, definite visual learner
22:51 Thank you so much for saying this.. That lesson doesn't just apply to music, but to other aspects of life as well. You're one of the best music production teachers on CZcams.
💯
You genuinely make the learning process more interesting, fun and less daunting and confusing. Your teaching method is very easy to understand as well and I've learned so much useful and vital things for producing. Thank you for the quality content and the fact that its offered for free, so it can get to as many people as possible. Commendable work really!

Best tutorial out there! you really inspired me to go back to fl to learn more, I got lazy and procrastinated on my past projects because i was frustrated and stuck on how to get my beats to a decent volume and turned my back on them the past couple of months. Love that you're explaining these complex things in a very easy to understand way. Thank you so much for your content, I wouldn't be able to try again without seeing this vid.
I love this song. Also, "In the Mix" is the best tutorial channel I've ever seen. I've been producing since some of you were little kids. I'm so impressed with your knowledge and ability to convey information.
Big words for someone looking like a kid 😂

This is the kind of stuff that needs to be shared more openly!
Always teaching me something new! your the best man
This helped me a lot man. I’ve always done my mastering myself but I definitely learnt some new things within this video. Cudos to you sir!
I've been really inspired to get into music more lately after getting fired from a shitty retail job. I've always wanted to make music electronically and have a ton of little projects that I've never tried to clean up and master. this tutorial was super helpful and also gave me a kick of inspiration. keep doing what you're doing man, this was a wonderful video. SUBBED
Fantastic tutorial. I especially like the part where you compare the medium, loud and very loud parts to your track to illustrate perceived sound quality, nice touch.
Huuuuuuge help dude. Many MANY thanks for the tutorials you put out. Great stuff!
As usual, bringing the goods to the party! Keep them coming! Just plain Awesome!
Holy cow! This video addressed lots of problems I had ... Noone told me that tonal balance is a key to make things sound good on mulitple systems. Noone told me the -14LUFS thing for streaming, and noone told me to make sure to leave some conversion headroom.
All things I uploaded to soundclound got those artifacts and strange distortions..
Thank you so much!
A year and a half into making my own music now and mixing and mastering STILL kills me. This video has helped me get started. I hope I can get better at it one day (I wayyyyyyyyy prefer making music to the knob tweaking stage!)
Your thumbnails are just on the point man ❤
Great video as always
I can sense how humble he is I love it
I love this man so fggin much!!!! Like he’s literally taught me everything I know about producing and now mastering like insane!! He will be blessed for his stewardship
