Hi there aqoon qaate, thank you very much for your comment. We don't expect you to agree with us because you are entitled to your opinions. However, irrespective of where the fabrics originated from, we are just showing all our viewers, how we wear them in Uganda. Thank you.
@@AmunaFoods sister its the Somali tradition attire and you guys are claiming it
@@thisguy2372you wear a Macawiis but it’s from Indonesia. Pls haana ceebeenin 😭😭😭
@@JustAnotherAbdi macawis is not Indonesian wtf ancient Somalis wore it its even in the walls of Egypt when Hatshepsut visited our lands 3,000 years ago
One of them is a Somaliland traditional clothing material , when did Ugandas claimed as their ?
Many African countries have similar attire. Who is to say Somalians didn't copy Ugandans? That is very possible.
@@AmunaFoods no you are wrong

@@aqoonqaate8109 multiple countries in the same area can have similar cultures. No one stole anything
@@melodykivumbi2553 it's not similar it's the same fabric. Somalis were traders and sold it as far as Uganda, somalis even sold the fabric to the people of the Comoros islands, which they traditionally wear.
Not exactly
You still luck the technics
It's not perfect, but it works. We will get better at it. Thanks for watching.
It was still beautiful.

Somalis traded the material for other goods and it thus went on to become Ugandan. It’s still Somali aswell don’t get me wrong but Somalis also wear a Macawiis as their “Traditional Clothing” but it originates from Indonesia! Please grow up ur embarrassing us😭
@@JustAnotherAbdi Uganda that's a corporation name, of course we will take advantage of any corporation whether its kenya somalia Ethiopia USA or UK, u talked about macawis wich become excessive use for somali males for the last 200 years, but im surprised u haven't mentioned the somali traditional clothing for both males and females, wich shows u know nothing from somalis but claiming to be one, you're disingenuous 🤣
