I mean, there are two methods, piercing damage and direct attacks
Also burns but usually burns have low damage, unless we are talking abiut Chaos Chronomaly Atlandis LMAO
I was playing cyber dragons the other day and the second I saw crooked cook I started laughing. My opponent had 7k lp when my turn came. I activated power bond and summoned cyber end dragon with 8k attack and one shot him

There are a bunch of strats that can out Cook. Code Talkers, Orcust, Chaos MAX, any deck that can go into at least one piercer or direct attack, Kaijus, mill/burn, etc.
Underworld Goddess, make your opponent take it out (Herald of the abyss, Towers, Cyber Angel Benten) and I'm unsure of Super Poly

I prefer my method of Unga bunga cause the last dude who used the cook to cook me, I figured: "Wait, why am I fucking around?" Went into the Evil Twins and attacked him and destroyed him while setting up for Destiny Board victory in the process.
I'd literally be cackling maniacally if I encountered a crooked cook player while playing my Lyriusc deck. Lol

What I do to counter Crooked is I give the enemy a token then negate or banish Crooked

and risking drawing that and it is dead on ur hand when you not meet the match up

the argument of "just draw the counter" is dumb

Ok, I run a pure Lyrilusc Deck in master Duel, I need Union Carrier and Valkyrie Chariot now. I went full red eyes "REAL SHIT?!"when I saw that strat holy shit. Another neat combo is getting Nightengale and another XYZ out and using Ultra Poly to go into their Fusion with around 3-4k attack, use polys gy effect to reborn the XYZs and go into Utopic future draco
Union carrier isn't that needed with lyrilusc if you don't have him. you can attach 6 monsters to your boss xyz monster and that's game or you can do the lyrilusc/ ghosttrick combo

Only way to win vs Cook is either by using the spell that allows you to summon a God card using opponents cards as materials, or cards that attack the enemy directly, orrrr any card that does piecing battle damage to defense cards like chaos max dragon and stuff like that
When I was new and first went up against cook it took me several turns to come to the conclusion that I needed to Gustav max burn him 4 times to win. I literally prayed that he didn’t have a kaiju or was close to getting all the exodia cards.

Crooked cook and other cards that would be unaffected or are problem cards make me at least main deck 1 Kaiju and a Daigusto Emeral just in case they somehow have another card that would be unaffected.

Or piercing damage, or using Underworld Goddess, or attacking directly ignoring Cook, or summoning tokens on Crook side of the field, or winning using an alternative win condition, or using burn damage, or hand traps to stop Beautunaful Princess. But yeah, almost no counters.
