I recently bought 2018 fsport+ 52k kms driven from local third party dealer. Took to lexus service center for inspection, they replaced tubro motors and door motors, i didnt pay anything. Awesome customer service from lexus as car was just out of warranty(few weeks). Enough for small family, comfortably 2 adults can sit on 2nd row . Very comfortable and feel premium. I prefer to drive sport mode as it gives more power instantaneously, though its litte noisy. I am more convinced as it has most of the advanced safety features which was my first tick box buying a car. Originally i planned to buy rx 350 2022 brand new but i settled happily with 2018 fsport.
How many kilometres car had when you bought it?
My sister picked this up in the exact same spec as the car in this video. She loves it. I really like the edgy design and creative interior design.
So, it really runs in the family.... SMH
I still think it looks better than the big RX. Something about its shape seems more appealing to me and I feel like the aggressive angles match better
NX is selling well at my dealership. Some grandparents don't need all the space of the RX. Also, don't compare this to Mazda - this will hold up far better over time than cx5
LEXUriouS Kirk Buick Envision 2.0T is under cutting NX by over $10,000 and offers more features like reclining and sliding rear seat. NX offers no tri-zone climate control that the Buick offers either.
Norm T Norm T correct on the 2nd row climate control. The NX does have reclining seats though. The envision looks uninspiring and dull imo. If you're spending $35k in a vehicle, it should look good.

The lift up compartment with the mirror near the cupholders is actually a sunglass holder.
The 2019 model got Apple CarPlay, but you can also retrofit it to a 2015-2018 model with a CarPlay/ Android Auto module

I currently drive a 2016 GS350 F-Sport & this is what I would buy next if I were to switch from a sedan to a crossover. I would for sure go with the F-Sport package which looks better.

NX 300 F Sport does have the sport+ but only if you get the adaptive variable suspension option

Nice SUV! I've already driven the previous Lexus NX200t F Sport SUV, drives nice! The ride is almost similar to the cheaper Mazda CX-5 SUV, which I drove also
so which one you prefer? mazda cx 5 or lexus? which one worth the price better?
@@ericwjyyy I didn't drive the CX5, but here in Canada it was cheaper to lease the NX, so I thought it was a no brainer.. almost the same monthly payment as the cheaper RAV4 XLE?? Of course, the residual value is $10k more, so if I want to buy it at the end of the lease, it's where I'll feel the diff.

What I am starting to notice with the NX is a lot of people are trading them in I see a lot of them in preowned sections at the dealerships. Its brother the RX it's hard to find those unless they are more than a couple years old with a lot of miles

Not a bad car, it'll have great reliability no doubt, but with the new Mazda offerings and the new RDX, this isn't as competitive as it once was.
Yep. I tested both nx and rdx19 and got rdx19. Nicer inside, roomier and faster.
No comparison of NX to any of competitors, x3 or Mercedes , infinity. Acura RDX others like , no match to NX. People are comparing Mazda .....what ever,,,,, good luck to them.

Six speed, still dragging along the old transmission. Should be 7 to 8 speed!
Small turbos should be for low end torque, not for top end up in the rev range.

NX does not compete with lifted hatch back btw. It competes with RDX, X3, GLC and etc. The upcoming ux will compete with gla

The 2.0 turbo is much better on the IS , same lag but the car just jets off when on boost
Nice but the IS is a sport sedan.. the NX gets way better mileage than the IS could ever. Don't even get started on the Hybrid version

I'd wait for the 2020 model to come out. It's a great car but it's getting dated when compared to most of the competitors.

Toyota is always late when it comes to gadgets.
For the people complaining about Toyota/Lexus vehicles being ‘outdated’, people don’t buy those cars for the fancy gadgets. They buy them for reliability, especially Toyotas. With Lexus, it’s more of being a luxury vehicle that is actually reliable, unlike German luxury vehicles. Also, Toyota/Lexus perfect things. Perfecting stuff doesn’t happen in a day, so that’s most likely the reason why their cars are lacking in technology.

Sorry .. I think this is a clumsy review. You missed so much of the features and passed over the rest - I found you spoke more repetitive unnecessary words to fill up air space than actual review. I know it’s now 2022 March I am viewing this but you need to actually look at the specs and learn where they are in the car and discuss the options and additional pricing. I purchased the 2018 F-3 and before going into the dealership I knew more about it than your review. Telling it like it is.
Like your reviews but please find some new adjectives. The number of “Good” and “Great” are haunting me.
I am 5'10". That NX is tiny inside. Narrow. Tested it just before new RDX19. Got the RDX19- much roomier and faster.
Ed K I am 5’10 and it fits me perfectly. Plenty of leg and head room in the back. You must be on the chunky side 😂

You just need to get the F Sport 3 which has the adaptive suspension to get better handling.
I’d take the new RDX over this. Especially the A-Spec.

Lexus is Lexus. Everything else is on step below, including Acura. That doesn't make Acura bad, it's just not in the same league and, most likely, never will be. But that's just my opinion, not harshing on anyone who buys Acura or has a different opinion.
Front license plate destroys the look of the car, sad. So glad we have rear plate only where I live.
Actually, the plate hides that ugly grill a little....
I live in a states that requires 2 plates but I only put the back on. Been doing it for 4 years. Cops don't pay attention to that. Been doing it for 4 years.
To all 2018 NX 300 Sport drivers AWD. I m having an ongoing disagreement with my dealer concerning the range of the Lexus. When I fill up with gas the range is 270 miles - can anyone tell me what their range is on fill up. Appreciate it. 15.9 gal tank = range of 350 yes?? Upon filling I have
at least 3 gals left. Comments anyone.

I bought a cx5 and for much less money it's way better in every way. Real leather more fun to drive Better driving comfort. Lexus is overpriced. I also have a 2017Lexus rx and it's a way better suv for not much more money
I drove the NX when shopping, the acceleration was 'good' and I've previously driven the Mazda 6 which I would describe as 'lacking'.
The 6 has slightly better acceleration than the CX-5 (7.9) and weighs literally 5 pounds less (GT vs GT) so it's a relevant comparison.
NX 0-60 6.5 | CX-5 0-60 8.1 | 235 horsepower vs 187.

I'm not sure how you quantify $7285 (20% of the NX's base price) or 10k as 'not much more money'.
Tim the nx I saw when I was at the dealer was in the upper 40k range
I test drove one and the ride was really bad. Hores are higher but for some reason my cx5 seems to accelerate faster. It's possible perception. Either way the Lexus gives you fake leather. On a premium 40k suv that's a joke
