- The Oberheim OB-Xa emulation for Yamaha MODX (+) and Montage (M) pays homage to the legendary analog synthesizer that defined the sound of the '80s and some other vintage synths like Jupiter-8, Moog and CS-80.
Capturing the rich, warm tones and lush textures of the original OB-Xa, this emulation brings the classic Oberheim sound into the digital realm.

But... that 1999 patch needs more layers and detuning.

@@whattherec I had a MODX a few years ago and did a 1999 patch from scratch. Sounded pretty good, but I traded up to get the new Montage M. With that AN-x engine I was able to add a few more synth layers and now that patch sounds HUGE!
