- This standalone DLC will be separate from the current installation and will feature a unique user interface and 2 brand new singleplayer missions.
Operation Rheinubung will have the player control the Bismarck and Prinz Eugen during the epic Battle of the Denmark Strait and its immediate aftermath where the Royal Navy commits all available resources to sink the Bismarck.
Big Race will take place after the events of Operation Rheinubung. The player controls a small and lightly escorted British convoy. The Bismarck and Prinz Eugen are closing in and the only hope the convoy has is the HMS Hermes that was redeployed after the events of Operation Rheinubung.

SpecTRe X if they actually had even World of Warships ranges I would pick this back up in a heartbeat.. Was so underrated on consoles! On the other hand this had to be balanced for flight times.. would have been an insanely time consuming game if your aircraft had to fly 20 minutes just to get on target. Wonder if you can fly a Swordfish from the Ark Royal in this?!
@@spitfire4sergi I actually modded this on PC to give ships longer ranges. It worked out alright, but the maps were pretty small considering. Too bad windows live was shut down and you can't use the dlc anymore.
@@agentx250 The Game is now better then before! Its a new mod online Remastered Mod with almost all ships and plane models from Wargamings World of Warships and Warthunder. GFWL is no more required to play
I liked the Prinz Eugen-King George V brawl, hard to believe the heavy cruiser won

Yup average engagment ranges was around 15km, at those ranges armor would be near useless.

@AJ K. Lawson But for that the Prinz Eugen had Turtle Back Armor so it was hard to hit it's inner compartments at close range.

Normally it does, but for this mission ship repair is disabled

is this the game that's now unplayable ?/ cuz looks great. But was reading reviews that with newer PC's or windows 10 you cant Run it, unless you want to go through the headaches and do tons of workarounds then its not worth it.

@@joshsuan4489 Bismarck left Germany with baltic camouflage, but during short stay in Norvay she was repainted-black abd White strip were painted over, she was all Grey with bow and Stern sections darker and false White bow wawe(to make her look shorter).... also German flags with svastikas on bow and Stern decks were painted over.... and while in Atlantic on route to France main tirret roofs were painted yellow(to help Luftwaffe identify her)...... So no Bismarck didnt have baltic camouflage during Battle of Denmark strait

Bismarck's anti-aircraft suite was not that good.
4 km range for these ships is point blank range for the 15 inch and 14 inch guns.
Hood was blown up at more than 16000 yards (13 KM), and POW was lightly damaged at that range. Bismarck was damaged by hits from PoW, resulting in leaking oil fuel, which caused Bismarck to abort and return to port for repairs.
All in all, an amusing game, but no way even close to historically accurate.
I agree, but it is still a good mod for bringing these historic ships and the event. Maybe later we will have some update with corrections
it's a fooking game FFS, i just loaded and got it working on Windows10 , i sank the Bismarck in my first 2 games playing in it, game said LOST but you say WIN (historically speaking)
