6:58 - 8:49 You know I thought about this for a long time and Minase just confirmed why Japanese sub performances are better than English dubs most of the time. In the USA, the vast majority of recordings happen alone and that just leaves actors without vital reference points when acting out difficult characters. Unfortunately, this acting gap will likely never be solved in most productions here because the USA just doesn't have the infrastructure to support group recordings most of the time save for custom projects and high budget titles.
You don't need to understand the language to know a good performance when you see/hear one.
Really? I’ve seen enough "behind the scene" videos of American dubbing but I can tell despite their nature of solitude recording, most of the time they had sound director telling them what should they do and avoid in every single line. Just like any other voice recordings around the world. In fact, US dubbing groups had better or if not, the same infrastructures as the Japanese have and I don’t think the voice quality is any different. There are bad voice acting and good voice acting, Minase-san and Yoshitsugu-san just apparently nailed theirs.
@@farrellmuhammadghaisanputr2505 Pretty much. US dubbing companies are pretty good infrastructure wise. The real problems tend to come from how insular the dubbing companies tend to be along with cultural differences driving the more skilled towards other roles. Japanese also has an advantage in the English speaking world in that it tends to be more monotone than English. So emotional scenes and the likes feel harder hitting because the language baseline is already fairly monotone compared to English which makes the ramp up more noticeable. While also hiding word inflection problems because people are reading subs and don't know what each individual word means or the tone it should have. You can easily get some good English voice actors but in most cases they are like Broadway actors doing a side gig in animation while waiting for their next show. Which tends to be more expensive than most dubbing companies are willing to pay for.

Under usual context, nothing special indeed. BUT, note that such conversations AINT usual for either of them to begin with. It's actually very damn rare for either of them to be so engaging with the opposite sex.
Matsuoka has ALWAYS had trouble talking to girls. Even though he had gotten better at it throughout the years, he still avoids talking to girls whom he ain't already familiar with or not his kouhai. Inorin is one of the handful whom he'd actually go & talk to at his own will.
As for Inorin, it's even more pronounced. She NEVER talks like that to any other male seiyuu, & you sure as hell would NEVER find her giggling like that with any other guy around other than Matsuoka. She's also an idol singer who's still in her 20s & by conventions, she should keep her distance from her male coworkers, yet she behaves like she'd gladly fly into Matsuoka's face just about all the time.

Also Inorin looks up to (and has a relationship with) Mizuki Nana, who was extremely popular but didn't get married until she was 40. It's not hard to imagine that Mizuki Nana has told Inorin privately about her difficulties of getting married as she get into her 30's, and then encouraging Inorin to balance out her career and romance at the same time... especially if Inorin set her target as Matsuoka-san, because even if Inorin actually get married to Matsuoka, fans will keep supporting her! The same cannot be said of any other male seiyuu/idol.
