    Each LED on the TV LED strip has 3 volts or 6 volts (for TVs with a diagonal greater than 39 inches)... the problem is that the LEDs from the light bulbs (most 2835, 5360, 5370, etc.) have a maximum current of 20 -25 mA, while the LEDs on the TV have an operating current between 280 mA and 350 mA... so the LEDs on the TV have a power of 3V x 0.35mA = 1.05W (watts) and each LED of the light bulb has 3V x 0.020 = 0.06W(watts)....there may also be light bulbs with LEDs that have 1W LEDs...TV manufacturers are not interested in selling TV LEDs, because most would buy 10-20 leds with the price of 0.5 dollars/piece "for the reserve" and the TV repairmen would also lose customers... because of this, only the LED strips specific to each TV brand can be found, because a TV LED strip costs between 10 and 20 dollars per piece, and the TVs have at least 2 bars with LEDs...thing for sale and profit of the producing companies

      With how much mA should I replace the led and how much voltage rating? I have a 42 inch tv.

    • @zarzarel1910
      @zarzarel1910 Před 17 dny +2

      @@_satyam.jaiswal___ Unfortunately, you have to disassemble the TV, measure the voltage at the entrance to the LED strips, then disassemble the screen and the reflective foils, after which you can see what the LED strips look like. Each LED strip is written (by the manufacturer) some information about the tape. Then, you do some simple calculations (Ohm's law), you have the voltage on the LEDs, you have the number of LEDs, you easily deduce the voltage and amperage on each LED from your own TV... just like "TV troubleshooters on CZcams" mostly only want likes and subscribes... the more detailed information is part of their experience, if they were to reveal it, almost all those with minimal knowledge of electronics would "steal the bread from their mouths"... success

    What gel is used to stick led to strip?

    • @ericanderson85
      @ericanderson85 Před rokem +1

      The solder that remains on the LED and the strip are what make it "stick." The gel is flux that helps the solder flow back together between the two parts. If you don't use flux soldering is difficult and may have a poor (or no) connection.

    Each led either tv or bulb have specific voltage to operate. It can be 3v or 6v etc etc. So the led tv strip you repaired had how many volts per led? and the led bulb you used to salvage leds had how many volts per led?? Both led tv and blub led must have same operating voltages. Kindly explain the wattage of led bulb that should be used for 32inch led tv. Thanks.
