Very nice sandpit, tempted to make one. Until I remember how much I hate sand trampled into my floors :-p

Great! I would like to do this but bigger. Because I have two kids. How can I calculate the mesure for a bigger sandbox?
    Thanks in advance!

Cesar Cantero I am building a sandpit nearly identical to this soon. The width is denoted by the width of the decking boards you use. Each bench seat uses 6 boards, so 12 in total, plus gaps.

Cesar Cantero you can increase the benches to 3 per section, so 18 in total, but bigger pits require a lot more wood and a lot more sand to fill..

How many bags of sand were needed to fill?

Hi Jimmy, thanks for reaching out. The sandpit took 5 bags of sand, although it could handle more and it's just a case of how much sand you want. Cheers
