Watching this made me feel much better about the struggles I had installing new pegs on my Tiger 800 last night! Thanks!!! (i did get them on eventually, the second on was without any swearing after a long break)
You would think something so simple would be easier right? What pegs did you go with?
@@MotoChooch I'd bent the left stock foot peg on my 2013 XC, and someone gave me their 900 GT pegs. They fit, but probably I should have used different springs. The orginal springs have far too much tension with the 900 pegs... Look sharp though!
Nothing is ever simple ,well done Emily and good job not losing your patience MC.
loll ... I was wondering why this video was so long. I have often had to file the mounting tab of pegs so they don't fit so tight. You always have to adjust the shift lever, and rear brake lever. So if you like the current relationship between your pegs and levers, be sure to note/photograph your pegs/levers before changing to the new ones. Lowering pegs also tend to move the pegs forward/backward on the bike, which can be annoying. And like Chooch said on screen... check your brakelight switch adjustment!
Brilliant, I nearly gave up before this video!

Looks like the website where to purchase the pegs is gone or offline.. Any alternatives?!?

Looks like they lost the domain. Try this: www.geocities.ws/mustanggarage/ Definitely contact them directly to see if they're still making these, it's been a while!
I would have lost it at the spring :)
Hey, stsrted a group on Facebook called Dallas Area Triumph Owners. Hoping to grow a group for meet ups, rides, etc.
Maybe if you'd greased it a bit, it would have slid in easier.
